Oh my god! Have you ever had that eyes rolling back in your head feeling after taking your first bite. The only way I could describe the wings was "oh my god!". They had a magical kind of crunch that I've never experienced before. We stopped for just a snack and only had the wings. My wife doesn't like spicy so we got the soy, garlic flavor. They were truly amazing! The menu had many other interesting options at very reasonable prices. I just gotta say, the wings were amazing!

I would honestly give this place 6 stars if I could. First off, the wings are amazing, the breading is perfect and both sauces are great. The Apple sake is delicious, and the servers were all super friendly and they brought us more food when we accidentally dropped some. Great time, you won't regret coming here

Love Bonchon, but this particular one has been a disappointment. I've eaten at numerous other Bonchons throughout Maryland and DC, and have loved them. I always get the spicy wings and from here they taste mediocre at best. The taste is a combination of the soy garlic with little bit of spicy. Its as if they make one big batch of soy garlic, and when you order the spicy, the rinse it off and then dip them is some spicy sauce, so overall taste is a disappointment because now it not representative of either one. I've ordered 3 times from here, hoping each time it was just a fluke and next time it will be better, but nope. Wasted my money. Only possibility for the high rating is that the costumers they serve may not realize there are better Bonchon places around or they just really love soy garlic taste. Who knows. I'm disappointed because I live so close to this one and its not even close in taste to the other Bonchons I've tried.

This place servers bangin' fried chicken to which one could become addicted. Some argue that Kochix in the District is better. I, however, prefer Bonchon because they put less sauce on the chicken. It's a sit-down place with a bit of flare with good Asian beers available.

So I have a Bonchon in Fredericksburg where I live but never went and passed it for years..some reason decided to finally go when I was in Arlington. Best decision I ever made. So I roll in, hungover, and order rice because I thought that's all I could stomach. However, i also ordered the soy garlic wings and drums combo and it changed everything. When people say this is the best fried chicken ever it's no joke. To quote my boyfriend "it's stupid how good this is". Between flavor and texture, everything was perfect. Their "addicted yet?" that's printed on the box couldn't be more true. I ended up having their wings like 3 more times that week. In fact, the night before, my drunk self ordered pizza and wings from Domino's that I thought at the time were amazing.after Bonchon I ended up throwing the rest of the Domino's away because in comparison, it was trash and I wasn't gonna finish them (this may seem like a joke but it's not). They are a bit pricey but my bf and I agreed it was COMPLETELY worth it. ALSO (I don't remember his name) the bartender here was amazing. We ordered our food to go but gave him like a 35% tip off our $40 bill because even though all he really needed to do was hand us our food, he was incredibly helpful between helping us make a good food choice to being super attentive. I can't really get service like that even when I'm eating in restaurant at a table that's being waited on.

I have over 10 years of Kitchen exsperience and cannot understand why it takes Bon Chon 20 minutes to fry chicken and stuff pork buns There is a deep lack of respect for what it takes to provide good customer service in this establishment. No since of urgency with this business and an inability to even show any form of effort. The food that they serve is the easiest food to produce quickly. However I since this attitude as if they dont care and will gladly take your money anyway. What makes me even sadder is that they are under poor management and it cannot be ignored. So if your looking for food to arrive in a decent amount of time, look elsewhere.

First of all, I love the food here. I keep coming back for the food, but there are some things I think could be improved upon.

On more than one occasion, my wife and I have shown up and had to wait even though we could clearly see at least 4 empty tables. Look I get it. Those tables were for 4 people, and we were only two. But those tables stayed empty for our entire wait (20 minutes until a 2 top opened up), and three of them stayed empty our whole visit. It is just really frustrating having larger groups prioritized over us.

Second problem, is that they have changed their portions recently. The smallest order of chicken strips is now 10, which is a lot for one person, and they don't reheat well at all. They also took away a side dish coming with any order.

Finally, I really wish there was a medium spicy option. The soy garlic is great, but sometimes I want a little spice, and the hot is just way too hot for me and anyone I've been with. We have all commented that a less spicy option would be nice.

Anyway, the food is great, and I want to love the place, but there are just a few things that could be improved upon to make this place great.

OMG i am a huge chicken lover and this place is my heaven. Went for lunch and got the strips while my friend got the legs/wings. Tried a little of everything and it was all perfect. The portions of food for cost was a great deal, had to take home half of it which turned out great the following day. The spicy chicken is no joke super spicy but delicious. Would recommend this place for sure. Live a few hours away but will most certainly be returning.

Went to this place with high hopes. Average atmosphere. I ordered the lunch special with 8 strips in soy and garlic sauce because I've been told the spicy is way too hot. Food came out pretty quickly and waiter was good. Chicken was good and flavor was good. Really nice crispy texture on the outside but the only problem was it was a little dry. 4 dollar fries? Eh. Might come back.
