Best Mexican food place in all of San Diego. Most other places have food that is kind of dry and overcooked. Lupe's always gets it just right. There customer service is fantastic as well.

Just renovated and updated the whole interior. I don't know if they upgraded the food as well but it appears like they did. The ceviche is bomb and authentic. Go on taco Tuesday for the specials.

Best tacos in the area .. And they cook your food fresh to the order. Nice atmosphere here.it's redone on the inside, you can see the cooks through the window from the outside, kinda neat! I asked my friend how was his beef taco, he said it was gone.so I guess that it was good. Rolled Taco's were good too, Not sure what their trying to do with the dining room area where you eat it looks like a night club in a way, one long table with bar stools and a couple of regular tables and chairs the walls are black I guess they are trying to attract a younger crowd of people, there is a high school and college near by come check it out for yourself.at least the food is still good.

Food is delicious. Beautifully remodeled but are in need of shades, the sun hits most tables and your face at some parts of the day. Although they have high chairs for children they're very limited and I don't think their interior designer had the highchair height in mind when picking the hight of the tables because the highchairs sit low next to them.

First time here and was surprised by how much they put on the plate. Fries were really crispy good, great service, good company. Good place to get a quick bite and fair prices. I'm going again to try other options on the menu

A modern(refrigerator unit for salsas and pickled veggies, digital monitors for menu board, touch screen soda fountain) taco shop serving everything you expect, and then some, from your favorite taco shop but done better, with fresh, quality ingredients, generous portions, friendly staff, and clean environment.

Local favorite. Ordered take out frequently before the remodel. Menu changed a little. Food is still great. They added fresh tortillas made next to the front counter.

Stopped by Lupe's today for lunch and was not disappointed. They recently reopened after a remodel as a sign would suggest and it looks great inside. Good, small selection of beers on tap as well as a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine and other bottled beverages to cater to everyone. Ordered rolled tacos and the Stoner Fries (pictured) for my wife and I to split and it was definitely more food than we needed. Also ordered a kids meal for my boy which was complete with two rolled tacos cut in half, chips, beans, rice, and a drink cup. 4 stars because service time was a little slow even for the busy lunch hour. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will visit again!

Loved this place. Quick service and really good food. After seeing the surf n' turf tacos on here I just had to get them and they did not disappoint. I had two, but one would have been good enough, they are huge!

Try the TGunz burrito. Just do it. You get a whole lot of burrito for your money, and it's delicious. It's totally overkill but you should try it anyways. Good service, great Mexican food.

Very reasonably priced and super delicious. The ladies up front were very nice too! It's also really easy to order online and then just run in and grab your food.

It is usually very busy around lunch time and most of the time the salsa is filled up and delicious Unfortunately they raised their prices recently and I don't go very often anymore because it's a little too expensive. Otherwise the food is usually very good and the people working there are Pleasant.

Lupe's is a great casual spot to grab a quick meal. The prices are very reasonable and large portions. Look forward to a lot of great authentic flavor served buy a staff that is friendly and efficient. You won't be let down if you stop by.
