Bolton Valley is a wonderful mountain resort! I enjoy going there on weekends to snowboard. There are three peaks, Vista, Wilderness, and Timberline. Personally, Wilderness is my favorite. There is something fulfill ing about sliding down the mountain with thick pine trees on either side of you. The food is pretty good, but rather expensive. They do have a delicious Waffle Cabin though.

Great place to ski! I wish we had gone when the weather was better, but the staff did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our experience. You can't beat their night skiing prices.

Food in the lodge is decent, comparable to other mountain lodges in the region for prices.

I wouldn't recommend going off-season, unless there's a ton of snow. Most of the trails get closed off by the first week of April.

If it were not for the Lift Crew this review wouldn't be 5-stars. I first came here during the 2017 season and it was the Lift Crew that made me want to come back the next season in 2018! They are always so friendly, even offering pointers when they notice struggles on the trails. At the same time they uphold safety standards as they wouldn't allow me to wear my backpack on the lift (in NC they don't care about that). I'd probably give 3 stars otherwise due to a serious lack of trail signage and multiple terrible cafe experiences. I had several incredibly frustrating runs because I couldn't figure out where the trails were that I wanted to ride. The cafe downstairs is a mess! No milk, cream, or half and half for the coffee. Ordered a hashbrown and sat wondering for probably 20 minutes what was taking so long. Finally walked up to the counter to find it just sitting there. No one thought to bring it to me or tell me it was ready. Next day I ordered a parfait only to be told AFTER I paid that they were out of granola. Thank goodness for the Lift Crew!!

Every single employee and instructor was polite and knowledgeable. The facility could use a couple upgrades. The cafeteria is overpriced but the restaurant upstairs has reasonably priced good food. The kids ski school gets 5 stars 🌟

This resort is amazing, and the slopes are challenging in its own right. Not crowded, mostly people from the area, so a great option for open field!
The quality of the gear is exceptional, they just hot new gear from Bruton on the snowboarding side. Staff and people were friendly, and attentive!

There is night skiing & snowboarding until 10pm! You can get lift & gear tickets valid from 9:30am till closing.

Just drove up to the area to scope out my wedding venue with just two weeks before the main event. I went up to the hotel to get a better view of the changing leaves. They were already well on their to their full colors, beautiful! I talked with one of the very friendly condo residents for a bit.

Amazing homely mountain. Amenities are a little dated but still nice and service and people more than make up for it!

Attended the 4x4 Training down the road from the resort. Staff was very friendly and really took care of us during our stay. I have to say that their food there was spot on. Thank you for your great hospitality!

This cozy little ski area may be small, but that is made up for by the great vibe and community of the place. Much like other challenging ski areas in northern Vermont Bolton Valley is not only family friendly, but offers challenging terrian and good parks.

Best mountain for VT locals that are looking for an inexpensive day of skiing. Courteous staff, fair prices and good terrain. I'd recommend this mountain for anyone looking to learn to ski/ride for a fair price. Very good Nordic center as well.

Went here for snowboarding for the first time in my life. The people were friendly, and helpful, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I loved it, and I plan to go back regularly.

I've been here a few times this season now, and I can say the people are always pleasant, and helpful, and patient with newbies who don't know much. Visiting here is always a great experience, and the upstairs food is some of the best I've had. The prices for everything feel fair as well, be it food, passes, or equipment care.

Slopes were not great. Nothing much harder than a green was open. Four stars because the instructors were awesome for my older parents. Everyone we interacted with was great.

Had an issue with rooms heating and the customer service team immediely rectified the situation. Top notch service. The bar and grill on-site also makes the best turkey chilli and hot chocolate

Took a tour of the accommodations to see whether my fiancee and I would block rooms here for our wedding next year at a nearby venue. Affordable rates for guests on a budget. They're in the process of much needed renovating, the renovated rooms are nice. This place is primarily a ski lodge. Big plus is its proximity to the wedding venue and the Ben & Jerry's factory! (Note we just toured the facilities but did not stay here)
