Good ol' Boll Weevil. I haven't been to one since the one on Midway, the one on Miramar, and the one on Morena have closed. Happened to be nearby and saw this location, so I had to go in for old times. The Steerburger, although smaller than I remember, was still delicious. They do have an extensive menu besides the Steerburger, and offer a good selection of beverages, including local craft brews.

Who doesn't like a big good tasting burger?! Lots of seating space. There are no booths so tables only. Check your local paper for meal deals.

I been longtime B.W. customer throughout the county -- when there were more locations. Today I find how much the company has changed, since earlier times of location cut-downs. I was undecided at food; searching through (new style) menu. Prices are CONCEALED, vs pasttime menus -- considering typestyle size. These employees would not know; they have not been living around here as long since my earlier years when I was a more frequent customer. When there was a headquarters; rather than all individually owned. With all locations individually owned, a customer will get biased comments when making a complaint. This location: the 2 waitresses only THROWED the menus to me; as they never answered any questions I later had. Any questions I reputed were aggressively answered by the cook, whom be of another human race. That Explained The Finale, To My Inside --- as to make me forget this place. PURE BIGGOTRY.

The Boll Weevil restaurants were always a "Let's eat out" treat when I was a kid 35 years ago, and although only a few remain, the food is still as great as it was back then. Unfortunately the prices have escalated a lot recently - though the half pound steerburgers are huge, filling, and delicious, unless you're getting the lunch special, $10+ for one, and another $3 for a side of fries is a little steep when Five Guys is nearby.

Ordered the mushroom burger, they charge me extra for grilled onions not that big of a deal but the bottom bun of the burger was so wet that it was paste. The french fries were not crispy although the onion rings were really good. I'm giving it to you because I'm really big on customer service and the waiter specifically asked if I wanted more water and then never came back for it and we waited about 15 minutes and we then paid our bill and then just got up and left. No water not even a sorry I forgot. We've eaten there before and the food is okay, but if I'm going to spend $14 for a burger and some fries I would expect a little bit better

It's not hard to understand why Boll Weevil is on the way out. You may feel like you're in a 70's bar that sells burgers in here - only the beer is much better than that. The beer is the reason we all met up here they didn't let us down. Service was really good too. It's a shame that this American past-time is all but gone but things gotta change!

What kind of place sells burgers with no fries?! Not to mention there's a cute little, hard to read, sticker on the menu saying that they add on a 1.9% surcharge onto the total! Definitely not worth the money. I highly suggest you go across the street to Carl's Jr!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
FIRST OF ALL THE ONIONS THAT THEY LEAVE IN A CONTAINER JUST SITTING ON THE TABLE ARE STALE AND OLD. WHEN WE GOT OUR FOOD THE MEAT WAS NOT FULLY COOKED ALL THE WAY.THE FRIES TASTE LIKE THEY WERE OLD FULL OF SALT. THEN THE CHICKEN FRITTERS WERE VERY HARD AND NOT GOOD. I TOLD THE WAITRESS HOW NASTY AND HARD THEY WERE. SHE SNATCHED THE FOOD AND STORMED OFF THEN I HEARD HER THROW THE FOOD IN THE TRASH CAN SMH. THIS IS NOT A GOOD SPOT TO EAT LIKE IT WAS A FEW YEARS AGO SMH. I'M NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. ONLY THING GOOD WAS THE WATER.

My regular after meeting lunch place. Good 'que and chill atmosphere. Very homey feel and friendly staff. Come early for lunch to avoid parking problems. The lot fills up fast just before noon.

You know you'll get a great tasting burger here. Fries always hot and fresh. My personal favorite is their chili. The only reason I did give a five star rating is because their condiment trays always feel grimey; they should wipe down frequently.
