  went here for prenatal massage and its super super amazing. they arent too expensive compared to a lot of massage places and everyone is very polite. they often have deals and also do holiday specials which is really cool.
  
  also had my hair done and it is much more affordable than a lot of salons. i would use this place for simple hairstyles.
  
  this place is very quaint and vintage. i love it! would recommend for anyone looking for massage or a touch up for haircut!
  
  edit dec2017: they no longer offer prenatal massages, so sad to see that service go as they were the only business in the area that offered this

  I just had my hair cut, colored and highlighted by Dominique. It was the best experience I've ever had at a salon. The atmosphere was amazing, and all of the staff members were friendly and inviting. I felt at home and comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Dominique went above and beyond! I have never been so happy with a hairstyle before. She was absolutely phenomenal, and my hair is stunning. Thank you all so much!

  I'm writing this review after having been having my hair cut and styled by Natalie for close to a year.
  
  I am traveling for an important event this week, so I decided to get my hair trimmed to clean up my appearance a bit.
  
  Let me preface this by saying I adore(d) Natalie. Until today, I would venture to state she was one of the best in the area. Unfortunately I am left extremely disappointed by her services today. I left the Body, Health, and Mind Center crying my eyes out, because Natalie butchered my hair. I've never had a worse cut in my life. She sawed over half the length from my whole head of hair, and when I said, "this is much shorter than I was expecting," she responded with, "Eh, it's hair. It will grow back." This is an utterly unacceptable thing to say to a person who's length you've just chopped in half without consent!
  
  I requested the same cut I had just two months before, only a bit shorter in the back so it didn't lay so strangely as it grew two months in. I had several photos for reference. What I left with was a hideous bob, stray pieces dangling from the sides and many uneven layers. The reference photo has the hair in front past the woman's shoulders, again just like she had cut mine before. Now I have some horrid version of a bowl cut, the front of my hair being just below my chin.
  
  Someone had come in for Natalie towards the end of my treatment, and I believe she was rushing through the last of the cut. I sat horrified as she snipped more and more hair off after I had addressed it being shorter than I had hoped.
  
  I cannot believe I now have to attend this event looking the way I do. I am so mortified. The only solution to this is to cut more hair, which I have been actively trying to grow for some time now. Initially the front desk didn't do much to offer a solution, but after my review was posted, two days later I was contacted by the owner.
  
  I paid $40 to feel badly about myself. I cannot believe she has done this to me.

  I returned and saw Dominique. I was nervous about having services again here, but Dominique went over every detail with me about remedying the cut, including looking repeatedly at the photos I'd provided, and going through my hair several times to make it look better. She confirmed that Natalie had cut a layer on the right far too short, leaving what appeared to be a "hole" in my hair, among various other mistakes (leaving the hair at the base of my neck too dense, and making some layers uneven and blunt-edged).
  Overall, I'm pleased with the fix, but my hair is still much shorter than I had intended--it's going to take at least three months for it to grow back, and I'll have to return once every six weeks to re-shape it. I'm still upset with Natalie's work, but I've added two stars to the review to accommodate Body Health & Mind Center's willingness to fix their mistake.
  
  I may return to Dominique because she's shown great expertise in making a terrible haircut look much better, and I think that speaks volumes as to her skill level as a stylist. I wont be returning to Natalie, however.

  The atmosphere at Body Health & Mind Center was relaxing and inviting. I was greeted with smiles and friendly, courteous staff who made me feel very welcomed as soon as I arrived. The shop is very comfy and homey as opposed to being too clinical or having the smell of acetone hit you in the face when you enter, as is the case with many nail salons. While they do manicures/pedicures, this is a full-service salon with a broad range of services to offer. I tried two different services and I'll definitely be going back; not only for the same ones, but also to try some others as well!
  
  I had my first ever bikini wax with Dominique Bowen, who was simply amazing to work with. She was warm, friendly, funny and professional. She made what was potentially a scary & painful experience into a comfortable and pleasant one. I'm very pleased with the results and by the following morning, I'm not sore at all! I planned on this being a one-time thing in preparation for an upcoming cruise, but after yesterday, I'm planning to go back for a Brazilian next time!
  
  I also had the best pedicure of my life thanks to Erica Forney! She was absolutely fantastic both in personality and expertise. It was such a refreshing experience to have my toes done by someone who enjoys what she does, smiling and laughing with me the whole time! Although we did have a great conversation and lots of laughs, by the end, I was relaxed enough to fall asleep! I'm definitely going back to see Erica in the future as well.
  
  This was by far the best spa/salon I've been to and I've been to quite a few. It is a 2 hour drive from where I live and is worth the commute! If you have the opportunity, book an appointment & prepare to be spoiled!

  I had a wonderful experience receiving my "mother to be massage " from Tonya Lacey. I felt as though Tonya paid close attention to problems areas while always making sure I was comfortable and relaxed throughout my experience. Tonya and the other staff members are very kind and professional. I would suggest This business and their services to anyone interested.
