Beautiful view of the gulf. Resort is pretty cool. Went out early and watched the sun rise. Amazing. Weather was windy and cool so no one was in the pools. Check out it's 10am. They do not allow smoking in the rooms and are very strict about that with a $100 air scrubbing charge.

Idk why these people are expressing so bad reviews on this hotel. Yes the restroom was a bit small but we weren’t trying to fit 5 people in it at once. The bed mattresses were fairly soft. But based on these reviews my wife brought her bedding topper. Didn’t really need it. They could expand their parking lots. Didn’t have any issues with anyone or anything. The price was great. Very enjoyable place.

Boardwalk Beach Resort is old but has character. Old beds, old TV's, hardly any plugs for electronics. It has awesome views on the Gulf of Mexico side. I can't say much good about the wait staff. They acted like we were there just to make them work. The lobby staff was friendly but didn't give us good directions for our rooms. It is close to shopping and good eats. Rooms are clean and the AC works.

Some of the posters tell you how bad the place is, or how rude the staff is, etc. I prefer to give an unbiased opinion based on personal experience. Some of the photos show a tall building, but this motel is only four stories tall. I say motel because technically a hotel has the entrance to the room inside, which this does not. In addition, the amenities listed say "kitchens in every room," but this is definitely not the case. Our room, which sleeps 7, had two full size beds, futon and top bunk. The mattresses were very firm. A small desk, small fridge, microwave oven, and analog TV (seriously) with very poor reception topped it all off. The bathroom is by the front door, and is very small. Only enough room for one person. Ok budget room, but not what we expected. We will not be back unless they do some upgrades because we prefer a little better.

My family an I wanted a last mini vacation for the summer so I booked a last minute trip to PCB. I booked this hotel because it was away from all the traffic and craziness of Pier Park. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and the gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly even though there was a mix up with the room type he corrected it in well mannered time. After checking in we took the Elevator which was a bit of a scary ride up. When arriving to our room we noticed that it was very spacious, the room AC was set at a comfortable Temp, the room was cleaned but it hadn't been dusted in a while because the furniture was full of dust and cup rings from the previous guest.( I worked as an Executive housekeeper and ran a resort for 8yrs so I can spot all the imperfections) After our 2nd day we asked for full service clean and I left a $10 tip but returned to my room still dusty and the floor hadn't been cleaned. I also noticed that the elevator had beer split all in it and on two different occasions while riding the elevator I had 1 housekeeper in the elevator with me and not once did either of them try to clean up the mess. A little bit of updating and proper training with housekeeping and other staff and this place would be perfect. Other then that we enjoyed ourselves.

Great hotel for the price you pay. Check in and check out was very easy. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The room also had a fridge and a microwave. It was right on the beach, about a 5 minute walk. Definitely worth the price you pay. Here's a picture from our balcony showing how close you are to the beach.

This hotel is horrible!!!! I came with a large group of people and whenever we all got our keys, we went to our rooms and none of them worked so we had to go back downstairs to re activate them. Next, the walls are SO INCREDIBLY thin. I could hear every single thing the people beside us were saying. Oh goodness. The shower.. It will not drain. it is so horrible. Nobody wants to step in their own filth. It's gross. Also, the bathroom is minuscule. Two people definitely can't be in their to brush teeth or whatever else. Lastly, it is dirty. We would get towels and they would have hairs on them. They barely clean anything. The bathroom was very gross hairs, dust, just gross stuff. They need to step up their game. Oh! Another thing I remembered. In the halls, there are always several puddles of water. It's just opposite of a nice hotel.

The Boardwalk Beach Resort is the only place we will stay when we visit Panama City Beach Florida! We come here annually and discovered this place a couple of years ago. There are many things to discover here and this resort is amazing! The staff is great, it is well kept and clean. Regardless of where we are at the resort, the view of the ocean is awesome! They have beautiful pools with a separate water area for small children. We recommend this resort to all of our family and friends!

Not the worst motel I have ever stayed at, but pretty hey run down. They have a "deposit" for $45, which simply isn't returned if you are under 25 years old. It basically is a half increase over their initial fee.

1st time we went to Panama city Beach we stayed at this hotel. People were very friendly and they cleaned our rooms every day while we stayed there. They also changed our towels and sheets daily . The price was convenient and the view was great. Just few steps away from the beach. I loved it here. We are going back again. To the condos this time but I'm sure the experience will be great as it was last year.

Horrible!!! Me and my family will never be staying here again. The first room we was put it the door leaked so we had to change rooms. Loud noises all night. The water to rinse off after the beach was turned off. I came back up with my son and our door just opened!! You have to pull the door really hard and when the house keepers came in they didn't shut it all the way.Our TV didn't work. Hair was in the shower and bed when we pulled the sheets back. The beds was really hard and their wasnt any sheets in the room for the pull out couch nor enough towels in the room for family. My husband left his sun glasses on the TV Stand when we checked out after we got two hours down the road realized he left them we called and no one ever answered at the phone desk after calling forever! When we finally called a different number from the front desk she just pretty much told us the staff was probably busy and call back tomorrow. Don't waste your money at this hotel!!

For blankets, they pretty much offered me a thin curtain. I called and ask the front desk for an actual blanket & they didn't have any/they ran out. They also don't have complimentary toothpaste so make sure you bring that as well. They offer body soap and shampoo in a pump like you see in public bathrooms; weird to see that in a hotel, that seems ghetto. The room that I was in was all hardwood flooring which I'm not a fan of. They also give you bracelets that you have to wear at the hotel to indicate whether you are 21 and over or underage, I guess for the purpose of buying alcohol at the bar on the beach. The beach behind the hotel is nice but there's better quality hotels nearby. You're honestly better off staying at Knights Inn. This hotel is pretty ghetto for it being on the beach. It's not how it looks in the photos.

Great location right on the beach! The room was decent and good sized. The hotel looks dated. Doesn't look like they puty any focus on updating the place and maintaining the hotel exterior. We arrived late, after midnight and there was only one staff to check you in, it got pretty busy so there was a little bit of a weight to get checked in. You have to wear an armband at all times in the hotel. There's is a walk through check list that you must complete after you arrive. Apparently you will be charged for anything and everything if it comes up missing or damaged!
