We came in without a reservation and had no problem being seated. The atmosphere was fantastic as was the service. We split the strip steak. It was tasty, cooked per our request and was plenty of food for the two of us. We had a couple of drinks each and walked downstairs to the bar. The place is very large and they were going to be playing live music.

    Good atmosphere and great service
Prices are decent. Good cocktails, beer and wine selection. Good food for a nice causal dinner

Brunch was fantastic. The hash scramble is very good, and a hefty helping.
And the bloody Mary bar is the best! That alone could be your meal!
Prices were very reasonable. Three of us for brunch, bloody Mary for each, just at $51.
The staff is extremely pleasant, and make it a special experience.

Pretty great restaurant. Excellent food. A little pricey but worth it. We ate outside overlooking the lake.

Ran into this place while looking for some place to eat. Great atmosphere, great service. Their prime rib french dip was yummy and the kettle chips too.

Came in for dinner and appetizers and wine last night. Appetizers were overpriced. 7 dollars for a plate of chips? The waitress was not able to make wine suggestions so we ended up with a red blend that was just fair. The Chardonnay was decent. The server was inexperienced but made an effort and we tipped well.

Very disappointed less than mediocre food and apparently overwhelmed waitstaff.
Two of us had the shrimp pasta which consisted of frozen cocktail shrimp and frozen peas with pasta without any sauce or seasoning. Reminded me of a 1 2 3 easy meal for working moms. The third person in our party had pizza what she said was just OK as well, and the fourth person received an incorrect order altogether.
Nice to sit outside by the water in the summer, this was really the only upside. Will definitely not be going back.

I took my line dance instructor who is also my best friend of Lia's Line Dance out for her birthday my friend got a deal because it was her birthday. The food was great. I had the octopus and scallops. Our waitress was Julie and she treated us great. It was my first time having octopus and it was awesome. I think I'm going to take my mom for her birthday or Mother's Day.

I would happily eat a dinner consisting of tray after tray of bruschetta from Blue Water Grill. Love the atmosphere and service.

Great food & great atmosphere. I'm from the East Coast and this is one of the few places I've found I can enjoy seafood in Grand Rapids. The view of the lake is beautiful as well

I came here after a co-worker referred me. Drinks took 30 minutes and we got our appetizers after 1 hour. Our server never put in a single order for us until we followed up with them, and weirdly enough we were seated right next to the half empty bar so it was odd why that could've taken so long since the bartender and employees were hanging out for 5 minutes at a time. Calamari was severely overcooked (fried) and cold upon arrival to the table. I was surprised since we waited so long for cold food so I asked them to fix it. 3 minutes later the same cold plate came back without anything done. Then ordered a salad and found hair but didn't say anything just put the plate away from us. Seriously this place is a dump as far as I'm concerned. It looks like an ok atmosphere but employees are untrained and lack basic skills. Also the musician went on an insult spree on a couple and it looked like they were embarrassed and done with the place. I would not recommend this place.

My wife and I had a late lunch on a rainy and overcast Saturday. We had the root chips appetizer which came with a generous portion of chips and two different dips. I had a blood orange margarita that was delicious. My wife had the steak salad and was pleased. I had the veggie mac and cheese and it was decent. Our server was helpful but not especially attentive considering they were not busy. I was satisfied but somewhat underwhelmed.
