I don't even want to give a one 🌟. Back in 2009 my son broke his ankle. So we go here and we get Dr Rocco.when they took the air cast off Rocco looks at me and tells me it looks worse than what it is. Well I told him I wanted an MRI done and he agreed. So his office couldn't get my son in for one for a week. Then they give us a follow up 2 weeks after MRI. So we go back for follow up. Rocco looks at me and tells me my sons break was a major break and they couldn't touch it. He started to say he knew someone in Altoona and I told him 👎 I wanted Pittsburgh. We go out to children hospital. The doctor out there was pissed. My son had to had a plastic surgeon come and remove skin from his ankle from a blood blister that developed from the air cast. We had to treat his like as a burn for a week. Then we go back. The doctor looked at my 14 year old son and told him he didn't know if he could save his foot because the bone that was broke was the man bone in the ankle. He got my son in for surgery within 2 days. Thank god he was able to save it. The doctor looked at us and told us to never take my son to Altoona again u bring him out here.
Now Dr Rocco knew it was a major break as soon as he got the MRI. He should done 2 things. One started treatment on the blood blister instead of letting it go. And 2 he should of called us into his office the day he got the MRI done. He wasted 2 weeks of treatment time for my son.
So if u don't ever want a doctor to look at your child and say I might not b able to save your foot. Don't go here. Take your child out to Pittsburgh.

My pain increased and the staff went out of there way to move my appointment up. When I explained I had an hour drive they made it easy to get my MRI done that day.

Have been associated with this office for almost 4 months. Do not like the way the staff fail to inform patients. You wait forever to be rushed out the door. After trying to contact for days and being on hold for up to an hr and a half. I've officially lost my patience at this point.

My visit ended up to be 3 and 1/2 hour visit. This is way too long. It was my day off I really did not want to spend all morning in the Doctor's office. My time is valuable too. I was seen by Dr. Kephartwas not impressed at all! I had expected him to show me my xrays..no he didn't even bring them in. He acted like he was afraid to touch my leg/knee. HE REALLY DID NOT EXPLAIN things to me as a Physician should do. I could tell he was in a hurry. He did not explain what a brace would/could do . when to where it how long could I wear it NOTHING! Then after the wait of 2.5 hours he said the would fit me with a brace. Little did I know that would be another hour wait. I finally inquired at the nearest desk how long would my wait be . I informed them that I had already been there for a long time. My point being they don't inform you that the man fitting the braces ect, works for all the Physicians in the practice thus the wait was LONG! PS I still did not get any TEACHING on the device/brace.. Dr. Kephart suggested injections of something I have never had. Did he give me any teaching information??????????????? NO NO. So over all I was not Impressed AT ALL. I was very disappointed!! The employee that finalized my visit was very friendly and helpful to methank you. I am dreading my next visit.. There needs to be some change !
