I ordered flowers for my mom’s birthday by calling and speaking to someone at the store. Despite ordering from someone directly, the flowers were never delivered. After calling the store they confirmed there was some kind of computer glitch which never processed my order. I, understandably, know these things happen and feel this review is more a warning to make sure there’s a confirmation email received for any order placed. The store sweetly offered to send out flowers, but we declined the gesture and will use another business in the future.

My son who is overseas ordered flowers for my birthday. I don’t know what website he ordered through, but Black Iris on North Mall Drive filled his request. They are gorgeous and the mix is creative, fragrant, fresh, and totally enjoyed by me! I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Black Iris ❤️

Incredible bouquet, so beautiful and unique. I will never call an 800 number again or order flowers online. It was so easy! I called and was told what flowers they were out of and they chose the most beautiful replacement. No surprises or disappointment! Love tbat! No carnations or filler flowers.just a gorgeous selection that you cant get from a box store. Highly recommend! My new go to florist!

Awful florist who apparently don’t know how to follow instructions. Asked to deliver flowers on Monday to her work so she could have them there at her desk and enjoy them but they delivered them Friday afternoon. And I paid extra for a special vase that they were happy to take my money and not provide. Then when I called to complain they said they would go back and REMOVE the flowers from my fiancée and re deliver on Monday?! Are you kidding me! I almost couldn’t stop laughing cuz I thought they were joking! I talked to a supervisor who said they would make up for it and an hour later my fiancée calls me to say the delivery guy just came and took her flowers away!!!!! Outrageous! DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST THEY ARE AWFUL AND SO DISRESPECTFUL!

These guys did my wedding. The owner worked directly with us on what we wanted for the theme of the wedding. They did a great job of giving us ideas on colors and center pieces. Everyone at the wedding kept commenting on how beautiful the flowers were. I'd highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding.

Buyer be ware. ..terrible is not strong enough of a description for this florist. My daughter who is station in SK went to their website for Mother's day only to not have the flowers & chocolates delivered on time, but they died in days. No chocolates and it took 5 1/2 weeks, 12 emails, 3 phone calls to get their 100% guarantee. Basically had to push calling the news station to get a response. Replacement bouquet is even smaller than the other and no chocolates but supposed to include extra flowers. what a joke!

UPDATED [1/9/17] TO ADD: Spoke with the owner(?) Not sure, was stressed getting out the door in time after rearranging my flowers into a smaller vase with a tray of food, in the snow Apparently there's a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I'm waiting on a delivery of another arrangement once the roads are safe for travel. Happy to have it handled in a quick fashion, might be willing to purchase from Black Iris again.

COMPLETELY disappointed in my arrangement! Received it yesterday with half of it drooping, added water like the paper sent with it said. Woke up today to find the half droopy part completely drooping and no idea how to fix this before I planned to gift it to my recently widowed friend today. Will update my rating and review after I receive a message or call back from this company. SO DISAPPOINTED!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!! My entire experience with this florist was a nightmare. Very difficult to work with - I had to remind him that it was my wedding not his. Worst of all he failed to provide the only service I was excited about - string lights - seriously not a single light! When I asked for my refund for that service they gave me a condescending response and eventually stopped responding. We had to sue them to finally get our money back! Oh by the way he also threatened us once he found out about the lawsuit! Seriously you'd be better off with anyone else!

Black Iris takes over the worry and stress of wedding planning hands down! They not only offered us the most amazing and magnificent flower arrangements and linens, but they can also add the most intricate finishing touches from votive candles to rustic decor to complete the look you are going for. Highly recommend Black Iris for your special day! They have a convenient office in Richmond Va as well and were a pleasure to work with.
