The owner of the store saw me peeking inside as he closed down and was nice enough to open the door and register just for me, as I found literally everything I wanted that many other comic shops didn't seem to carry. Very nice people and have anything you could want in stock. 5/5

Black Cat Comics is one of my favorite comic stores. They are friendly, smart, inclusive, and wonderful. Some of my favorite people on Earth run one of my favorite comic stores on Earth. Not enough good can be said.

I haven't been into comics for more than a few years, but I legitimately can thank (or blame?) Greg and Taylor at Black Cat for it. I can always count on a good conversation while I'm there, and it's usually about something completely off the wall. They know the types of comics I tend to enjoy, and they share their opinions readily. It certainly helps that the selection is best in class, but that's not why I go. They're just the best.

Friendly staff that always provides good recommendations whether you are new to comic books or just looking for something different. The chill atmosphere also allows you to browse without feeling pressure to make a quick selection.

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. The manager and employees are incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. And the store is 100% devoted to comic books. If comic books are your passion, this is the best and only place to be in Salt Lake County.

By far the best comic shop I go too. It is full of comics so your always bound to find something you want. The staff here are friendly and very helpful. I have found some of my best comics In this store and highly recommend that any comic lover visits.

All my favorites and great recommendations.

They are consistently in stock of my many favorite monthly editions. Because they know what I like they are pretty good about peaking my interest in new books. Quite a few of their recommendations have become favorites that I probably would have skipped over.
I'm so glad I switched from the previous shop I used to Black Cat. Couldn't be happier with the customer service and selection. I only wish there was a 10 star option!

I have been going to black cat comics almost exclusively for comics and action figures. Greg and Taylor are some of the best people I have ever met and known as a frequenter or a specific store. They are more than helpful to help you find what you want specifically or if you just need a suggestion. I will be a life long customer.

It made me want to start reading comics, though I was only looking for a gift. Service was super friendly and they helped us with exactly the comic book we were looking for. The entrance it's a little big hidden though but overall I think it's a great comic book store.

I live in Ogden, but Black Cat is always worth a trip to Sugarhouse. The staff is the most helpful out of any comic store I've been to, their selection is the best, and their prices are reasonable. They're so nice to everyone, especially newbies like myself, and if you give them the name of a comic you're looking for, they'll do everything they can to see if they have it.

DO NOT SELL YOUR COMICS HERE!!!! Great place to buy, but do not sell them you won't get your value, and they're shady. I turned my back for one second to reply to family; next thing you know, the stack I didn't want to sell was tossed and mixed into different stacks. I lost $1700 in comic value due to me forgetting one rule to busines never turn your back.

Best Comic book shop in town. Friendliest customer service and fair prices. About a year ago I found a 1st print Killing Joke from 1988, rare find and it was also fair priced. Thanks Gregg.
