Great place to take the kids! I enjoy the fresh air and the exercise. Kids love the Red Panda

Spent the morning with my friend and her 20 month old granddaughter and my 20 month old great granddaughter. The 3 and under room was perfect. The rest of the place had long halls and carpeted steps to run and practice on. They weren't very interested in grocery shopping but liked the bee hive. Place got quite crowded but happy children everywhere. This center is probably the best I've seen including NYC. Very innovative, well staffed, attention to details remarkable.

We went for Easter. The kids had a very nice time. The zoo had an Easter egg hunt. At the end of the hunt , the kids traded in the eggs for treats. They had there piture taken with the bunny. The animals were awesome. The zoo seems to be taking good care of them
It was a very nice day.

Our family had a great experience with our Wild Encounter. All the staff were courteous and helpful. Rachael and Courtney were very knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend the experience to any family.

The entire zoo is laid out along a 1-mile loop, which is paved and well shaded throughout. This makes it pretty much perfect for summer walks with a stroller or kids learning to ride a bike 🚲 or scooter 🛴. There is a playground (unfortunately not shaded) and a snack stand (hot dogs, ice cream) close to the halfway point, so it's easy to spend a few hours at the zoo. The free carousel 🎠 may outside the entrance is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Except for the expansive wolf 🐺 "woods", animal enclosures appear to be pretty old, on the small side and don't seem to offer a lot of fun activities to the animals. The zoo is closed in the winter and open only on certain days in the fall.

We had a good time with our kids. I got a good deal on Goupon for tickets. It could use some updates but the staff was friendly and helpful.

The most disapointing part was people smoking. There was one person smoking a cigarett just feet away from the "no puffin" sign. There was also two seporate groups of people smoking POT out in the parking lot.😠

Enjoyed our visit. Nice to have an amenity like this close by. Don't expect big city zoo attractions but there are some good experiences to be had. Many of the animal attractions were closed or being refurbished when we visited which was disappointing. It's looking a little run down but work is in process. Kids loved the petting zoo. Membership is good value especially with the discounts you get.

Beautiful area! The gardens are pretty and full of gnomes! The animals seemed a little sad, for a lack of better description. But they did appear well cared for. It's not the biggest zoo and con be walked through in about am hours time. The gift shop was lacking. But we had a nice time and would return.

This is a smaller zoo, but it is well kept and has a lot of nice animal exhibits. My favorite is the penguins. We like this zoo because it is inexpensive, has a lot of shade and nicely paved walking trails, and a picnic area. They sell a decent variety of food near the picnic area, or you can bring your own. My kids also love the carousel that is near the entrance.

It's a great little zoo with different animals. I love how close you can get to the animals as well. For example, the leopard and you could be very close with just the plexiglass between. The leopard was very playful. I got quite a few good pictures there.

What an amazing experience! I went with a kindergarten class in a field trip. So often as a child your told not to touch and to restrain yourself. The Discovery center allows kids to explore, touch and experience everything. I was just as enthusiastic as the kids. The story garden, the zoo and the Discovery center were all amazing. I highly recommend!!!

Went there for a wildlife experience with a sloth and a Porcupine. It was fun and informative. They do have this one on one with a couple of the other animals. You do have to book this in advance but it was worth the money.

Nice, small zoo. Good for a visit of an hour or two. Or you can also do the Story Garden and Discovery Center and make a day of it.

A small zoo with a relaxed feel. Cheap admission, active animals, and super clean. It is about a 1-2 hour experience, perfect for killing time with kids on a weekday afternoon.

Although the zoo is not very big it is very nice as you can quickly come and go, especially with young children, and it's not generally too crowded. Lately it seems like the zoo is trying to acquire a greater diversity of animals which is great. If you have kids I would recommend a membership, it lasts a year and allows free entry to the zoo.

This place is very sentimental to me, I spent a lot of time there as a child however, most of the staff is half-ass with their work... I will say though that in the past several years there has been a lot of improvement throughout the park. There are some staff members who fully devote themselves and you can definitely see the results. For the staff that is committed to the place, sorry for the 3 star rating, you can blame all the half-ass's
