Im from California and i been trying to take my two kids and wife back horse riding. But in California kids have to be 10 years or older. It was so fun but more important my kids had fun and my wife love it.

In one word, this place is just awesome. They welcomed us even though it was 30 degrees out. We arrived and they were brushing the horses clean. The abundance of farm animals was welcoming and fun. Despite weather and all odds our group had so much fun. We came from California to visit my brother stationed here and already planning to come back soon and the summer. I highly recommend bighorn ranch to everyone seeking short or long trail riding.

We had a lovely ride. The farm had really wonderful energy and you could tell all of the animals are happy, loved and cared for. The personalities of the horses were fun. Our guide was very personable. The farm dog Bear was very endearing and went on our ride with us! A great time! Would go again!

Awesome! 6yo 8yo 2 adults all first timers we had a blast. Super awesome guide Katie took time to make sure we felt safe. The horses were gentle and well trained. We will be back for sure!!

I have been boarding at bighorn ranch for about 2 years now. I have nothing but good to say about this place. They treat you like family. Mary the owner and her children are experienced horse owners and care for your horse like it was theirs. They are friendly and polite. They also have trails to ride on and N indoor arena and a round pen. They do horse training and have day camps for the kiddies. Over all it is a pleasant place to board your horse. I will never move my horse from here and if I ever got another horse in the future I would still board here. Mary has become a friend to us and Panda and I love this family.

Absolutely loved our experience! If I'm in the area I would definitely go Back! Really friendly family and you can tell that they put a lot into this place!

Had my 11 and 9 yr old with me. We had the best time. .. Friendly owners, great horses, and phillip the micro pig. Was awsome, will be coming again.

Loved it, went a few weeks ago for one hour and made a upcoming appointment for a longer ride, the hour wasn't enough for me, tried another guided trail ride around where i live in Illinois and its not even close to Bighorn Ranch!!! The people are nice and u cant beat the prices, ill be going here every time im camping at Castle Rock, or any of the surrounding camping areas, plus bringing friends in July !!! p.s loves my horse Mystic, a retired barrel horse!!

I board here and will not go any place else. They make you feel like family. They take good care of your horse treating them like they are theirs. I would recommend Bighorn Ranch to anyone I know. Mary the owner is a very friendly and caring person. I so love this place and the friendly atmosphere. they also do trail rides for the public which is awesome.
