Very nice place. Atmosphere was very nice. The waitress was very accommodating and carried a intelligent conversation and was on top of checking if we were ok. Our food came out cooked just right. The tastes was great the mix of BBQ sauces that were available to choose from was good. The potions were huge and the price was very good especially with the amount of food you received. We definitely had leftovers to take with us. If you are looking for a good BBQ place we would recommend to give this place a try.

I order the same thing every time. The veggie burger on gluten free bun with fries. The sandwich is huge! You definitely get your money's worth.

BBQ is OK. They have a big space, so if you have a big party, they will accommodate you. Plus they have lots of TVs if you wanna watch a game with friends. Service is quick. I will go back.

Have enjoyed every meal here. Always great barbecued meat options and I love the fried okra and cole slaw. I know what I like and generally stick with it. Lots of other choices that I am sure have quality good as well. Service has been solid also. We drive about 50 miles round trip for an evening out just to enjoy a supper out at this place every 3 or so months since discovering it. Comfortable seating and atmosphere.

We had dinner on Thursday night - brisket, okra and slaw for me, brisket, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli for my husband. It was all very good, and we had a very personable and friendly waitress, Audrey. She made our meal that much more enjoyable.

There were three people in our party on a Friday evening. Our food was delicious and the young woman who waited on us was attentive without being intrusive. We had a great experience and will return again!

Good meat, decent pricing, meh sides. I had a combo platter with three meats, each additional meat was only $2 more. I had chicken, pulled pork and brisket. Brisket was very good, pork was tasty but a little tough for my taste, chicken was tender was a little sweeter than I like. Also had burnt end mac and cheese: burnt ends were good, pasta was a little overcooked and not enough cheese flavor for me.

Good service, food came quickly, server was very responsible.

We came on Sunday for all you can eat fried chicken. The FRIED chicken (ordered all dark meat) was dry and had no flavor. My wife asked for a refill on a side of mashed potatoes since the chicken was terrible. They want to charge us for the side! I stressed FRIED chicken because I ordered the smoked chicken and it was excellent. Only gave one star because the service was less than desirable- place was half full and it took the waitress 15 minutes to come back to our table AFTER drinks and plates were empty. So here's the skinnylets say the chicken was good, it would take at least an hour at the table to eat one additional piece past the original serving. That's an old all-you-can-eat trick and people just aren't that dumb anymore. I'm sure the other food is good, like I said, the smoked chicken was great. Bit if you are like most guys and you are just taking the wife out for a casual dinner and you stop here for the all you can eat fried chicken on Sunday night, then lower your expectations or be ready for disappointment.

I posted this at my table. As I turned around, I noticed an upstairs area that is full of people. So to be fair, maybe the service has an excuse because the place actually is pretty busy.

Kansas City ribs done right! The brisket was tender and you had your choice of 3 barbecue sauces: sweet, regular and spicy. The chicken dark quarter portions were juicy and tasty. The cheesy corn was the best side dish.

Best BBQ in Lawrence! I love bringing my friends and family here when they come to visit. It's clean and comfortable. The food is so good and fresh. I have hard time ordering anything but the burnt ends, they are my favorite. This is a very kid friendly place. They understand that little kids and toddlers get rambunctious when they are hungry and tired and the staff really interact with them to create a fun experience which makes it easier on us parents.
If you're looking for good BBQ then this is your place to go!

They have some of the best BBQ in Lawrence. Always enjoy eating here. Every time I go I end up with a full belly and a to go box. If you are looking for a place to take your out of town friend for some BBQ this is what I would recommend.

The food is delicious! Very cozy place. Has a lot of options, highly recommend the smoked chicken (best I've had) and the pulled pork. The smoked Mac n cheese was a little bland, but it wasn't gross. The fries are the bomb! Would definitely try again if I'm in town again.

We ordered the Rib Cakes Appetizer and they were pretty good. I had the Brisket Sandwich with fries. The brisket wasn't too dry like most places, it was very edible and had good flavor. The fries are great and my favorite BBQ sauce was the sweet. My wife had the Smoked Chicken Sammy with sweet potato fries, both were good. We'll definitely come back. Service was good, as well.
