As a real estate agent in Boston, MA., I have never took drastic steps to add people to my MLS wth first consultation, meeting, or directly asked. I received an introductory email from Ludwig Tertlien out of this office ( 5775 D-Glenridge Drive) that a MLS account had been established for me. WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I tried to call Ludwig, but we had difficulty hearing each other, so I sent a text - "Please remove me from your MLS, I didn't request to be added." Ludwig's response - "Please unsubscribe if not desired. It is that Simple!" Rude!
The introduction email I received didn't have an option for me to unsubscribe, so Ludwig, no it's NOT that simple. I hope this post reaches the franchise owner, with hopes to reiterate to agents - you cannot just add people as a new contact, blindly without verbal or written permission to your agent MLS!
I am property owner currently utilizing Metro Brokers as my property mgt firm. I am less that pleased with the communication and attentive to emails and requests. They are very tenant focus and while that's good the same respect and attention and urgency should be afforded to the property owner.
I don't know if they have too many properties they're trying to manage or perhaps my simple expectations are just too unrealistic.
Nonetheless, I would not make any referrals.
This company does nothing for struggling agents. The lead class is a real joke. U only get unqualified renters an people who need section 8! The fees are 100$ per month, 150 if two weeks late an 200$ past 2 weeks tardiness. As an agent just starting outit will be problems paying. Which explains the reason for the high turnover. Everybody watching their own Back no Teamwork no support an a bunch of ugly attitudes in a suit. Over 3 years paying this An we got squatted on. 70/30 split is a ripoff anyway check around see who'd offer 90/10 it's several brokerages. Metro is only good for the license.then run baby run.
