Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Price is good. Staff very polite and professional.
Breakfast is marginal.
Service for dinner last year was exceedingly slow, high prices, and not great quality.
Very good place to sleep, but seek real restaurants or diners for eating.

This was a great find right off the highway but still scenic! There were tons of great amenities here & lots to do in the area. Staff were all pleasant & we enjoyed our stay!

I usually stay at the Best Western Plus Waterbury-Stowe on a Friday night before continuing on to Stowe where we stay for the week in February. The rooms are clean (I have high standards) and the staff is nice.

I was surprised to see that the restaurant had closed for dinner service. I drive up after work and I am usually too tired to go out and would sit at the bar for dinner before going to bed. However, the nice man at the check-in counter was able to recommend a great restaurant where they have craft beers on tap and probably the best burger I've ever had (Blackpack Pub).

I was a little scared that the hotel would be loud because a school group came to stay at the same time, but either the hotel is pretty sound proof or they were quiet. I also used the fitness center, which is good enough for one day, but I wish it were larger.

Breakfast was good and has a little something for everyone (scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, oatmeal, waffle maker, juices, coffee, fruit, etc.).

Very near the I-89 exit, look for sign on the left just after the exit ramp or you will miss the steep up-hill entrance drive. Looks like the interior has been redone recently. Nice warm clean feeling. The breakfasts (free) have a good selection and good flavor/taste. Front desk staff is does a good job with check-in and information. The evening cookies are the best. Green Mountain coffee is a plus. The rooms are larger than normal for this brand. New interior and bath (plenty of towels!) Ample fitness room, enjoyable hot tub and pool. Temps set right. No excess chemical odor.

Beautiful location although it was approximately 12 miles from Stowe. Check in staff (male and female) barely spoke at all--very surprising at a hotel. No bar or restaurant although I'm pretty sure website said there was. If it was being remodeled, this should have been reflected before booking which was non-refundable. Room was nice and heater worked well which was very important in 14 degree temps! Loved the authentic-looking covered bridge in the back of the hotel which made for a lovely picture (even though it wasn't historic). Food for breakfast was good although directions for waffles didn't reflect what you actually had to do. Staff took care to salt walkways after the dusting of snow which was good for all! Pool and game area looked clean and a great place for families. Nice playground outside as well if you are with family.

A new favorite place for us to stay. Great pool and hot tub. By far the best free breakfast at a hotel! Real Vermont maple syrup for the waffles! Love it!

My wife and I stayed here after our GPS foubd it. It was the only brand we recognized and we weren't disappointed in the least. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and smiling and asking how they could help. The evening manager directed us to an awesome restaurant, just what we were looking for. The breakfast buffet was great, attended to by a very friendly employee. It may have been our first time at a Best Western, but it certainly won't be our last.

I really enjoy this Best Western for its great location. Beautiful property to unwind and relax. They have an old wooden bridge on the side of the hotel, with a small babbling brook underneath. Swings and small playground for the kids, and even a wash area for motorcycles. The restaurant has good food along with a knowledgeable bartender. Doesn't matter what time of year in Vermont, this location is top value.

Best Western is trying to capitalize on this Stowe, Vermont, location in order to establish its own supremacy in the business of short-term accommodations. While this property was clean, the lofty room rate rendered my business trip a bust, as whatever profit I can squeeze from my trip has been nullified by the rate I had to pay. FYI -- the only reason I chose this establishment is because I took a previous exit featuring the hotel icon, only to find nothing there -- wasting gas and time. If you enjoy paying very high room rates, please do check this place out.

We arrived early and John, who was at the hotel desk accommodated us. He contacted housekeeping to see if there was a room available on the second floor for us and there was. We checked in and he explained where breakfast would be served in the morning. He also indicated what door to us and that the elevator was right there. My husband has problems with stairs and the elevator was very helpful. Our room what clean and quiet. Amenities were nice too. Breakfast was plentiful and an array of items and good. When we checked out, John was at the hotel desk and checked us out. He is very pleasant and courteous. Truly an asset to the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel twice in the past two years and enjoyed it both times. The pool's shallow end is 3 feet and great for toddlers/preschoolers to play safely. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and breakfast had enough choices for our family so everyone found enough to eat.

Clean comfortable rooms, loved the indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. The property was beautiful and the breakfast was free. Would recommend future guests to walk around the back where their is a bridge and lovely small waterfalls which is very peaceful and relaxing. The staff was very nice as well. Would come back again!!

Everything was clean, comfortable, and orderly. The room was well appointed, with a great bed, basic but useful amenities, and a good-sized bathroom, all clean and well taken care of. The pool and hot-tub were in excellent condition and quite clean. Breakfast was a buffet, with sufficiently satisfying choices and of reasonable quality. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. And all of this was for a very reasonable price! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in this area.

We found the Waterbury VT through our GPS. I had never considered the Best Western brand and was dubious; but, it was superb.

The staff, the room, the fitness center all are simply top notch and the dinner we had at the Bistro was great. The Bistro even had vegetarian options despite a concise menu!

But the best was the enthusiastic desk clerk who was just great as were the cook and the wait staff. All young, professional and loyal to "their hotel" and the brand which is unusual and worthy of admiration.

I love this hotel! We have been there at least 10 times in the past year and we have always had outstanding service and a beautiful and comfortable room. The staff is so friendly and make you feel so welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants the real Vermont experience. It is located on top of a hill and so quiet and secluded. The hotel has been renovated and it is so beautiful! The beds are so comfy too! Beautiful scenery, quiet room and comfortthat all we need when we are traveling and you will get it here. So affordable too! The breakfast is a huge buffet style breakfast that you would get in a restaurant too. Great for families. I will always stay at the Stowe Best Western when we visit Vermont! Easy access to Interstate 89 and Stowe skiing too. Close to Smuggler's Notch and right next door to Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory.
