Highlander Motel was clean, warm, and had good shower pressure. The beds were small and the showers were tiny. My girlfriend thought the towels hadn't been washed. It was not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, and it didn't have free breakfast, but it was a great deal for the price.

It's location is convenient due to its proximity to ski resorts, but that's all the Highlander motel has going for it. The room is small with awkwardly placed furniture. The bathroom is tiny with a one person shower in the corner and no counter space. The downside to using this place for a ski trip is that there are no places to hang up wet gear. Ultimately not worth the price.

Simple and clean rooms at very reasonable prices. Very nice owners. Great cable TV and HBO as well. Very close to downtown rutland and right on route 7. A great place to start a wonderful green mountain family vacation!

There is only one way I can describe the Highlander Motel and that is disgusting! There were bugs all over the walls. The shower was rusted and gross. The toilet was dirty. I was told that there was breakfast in the office which only consisted of toast and coffee! This place was horrible.

I didn't like anything about it. Place and staff was terrible. Bathroom was horrifying, black mold everywhere. Place wasn't vacuumed upon entering and beds had no fitted sheets on them The owner should be ashamed of himself. Never ever stay there again.
