  A nice park well shaded by cedar trees. Has a great venue available to rent for events, complete with bathrooms, refrigerator/freezer, sink, microwave, etc. Very reasonable.

  We used to go here a loooong time ago for family reunions. The park had camping facilities back then. Now it is a nice place to go walking around the trails. The scouts have done a decent job of making and marking trails, but many of the signs are falling off, so it is easy to "get lost". The washrooms are closed every time we go, and peeing in the bushes is really no fun. It would be nice to see the facilities open year round, especially since we have seen a few families come to the park, even in the early spring and late fall, when the washrooms are closed.

  Neat little park. They have black squirrels, picnic benches, baseball diamond. Worth a stop just to see the black squirrels.

  Berthusen park is a great location for a walk in the woods just outside of Lynden. There are multiple trail loops depending on the distance you plan on travelling.
