Good technicians these days are hard to find. I'm so glad I found Bernie's Plumbing. Their service technicians performed the repairs on my hot water heating system with a high level of expertise. Beside that, they were curious and punctual. This is a great company.
I've used Bernie's a couple of times and happy with both experiences. The plumbers that came to my house were good people and did a good job at a fair price. What else could you want?
We used Bernie’s twice in the last four months. Both times they arrived on time, and did the work required quickly and completely. Their service people are polite and good communicators so there were no surprises. We’re very pleased with their work and will use them again.
The folks at Bernie's take good care of me. I have a complicated radiant heating system, and they work very hard to make sure it's running as efficiently as possible. And they're really nice, and good communicators. They are not the cheapest, but they are super quality and I trust them.
Bernie's did an amazing job reconfiguring the pipes under our kitchen sink. Whenever the drain was slow the garbage disposal would cause an overflow leak under the sink. They unclogged the drain and re-piped to prevent future occurrences. Several months now without a single leak. Great service and very fair pricing.
Bernies is great. Always prompt, courteous and very component. He will come anytime of the day or night on weekends and holidays.
I have used Bernie's Plumbing a few times and they have always done A+ work. Sometimes they are backed up but they are worth the wait.
Had a major issue with the heating system for a tenant. Called 4 different plumbing/heating companies and Bernie's was the only one who could fix it. Joe was awesome! Highly recommended. Great customer service too.
The Bernie's Team rocks. Service, pricing, staff. We love this company. And we live in an old house on well water. They work hard at keeping things flowing here. Thanks Bernie's!
Glad I found Bernie's Plumbing. I enjoy working with their plumbers and staff is always helpful and very responsive.
Bernie's did a great job on a time-sensitive repair, even when we had a big surprise mid-repair. They were very positive, very supportive, and put in extra effort to make sure everything was done right. I definitely recommend them.
Very unethical. If I could give them less than one star, I would. I may also report them to the BBB. They said they'd come out at no charge to diagnose my water heater and tell me if I needed a new one. While they were at my house, they suggested turning up the hot water heater to see if that solved the problem. The technician wiped out the area around the knob so he could turn it up (the water heater is in my hall closet and the knob is plainly visible, so there's no crawling around to find it). I then received a bill for $155! They described that action (turning up the knob) as "diagnostics." I spoke to them about how ridiculous the charge was and they wouldn't budge. I truly feel like I was defrauded and will never do business with this company again.
This review is about service performed on January, 25th 2011.
The employee who handled my service was Joe.
This is an EXCELLENT company, i was very impressed with the professionalism, honesty, friendliness, and quality of work performed by Joe.
My experience started with my 30 year old furnace making a banging sound while spinning up and spinning down during heating cycles. I assumed the furnace was about to die, but called Bernie's plumbing to come see what they could do.
Joe arrived, and proceeded to inspect the furnace. He informed me the the furnace was in good condition, and that my only problem was that my fan assembly was coming apart at the seams - the banging was being caused by a failed bearing and bent shaft inside the fan assembly.
Joe informed me that all that was needed was to replace the "combustion fan". The fan was taken and rebuilt, and Joe returned the next day to replace it.
He did the work quickly, and the final bill came to $300, which was $200 under his maximum estimate.
Joe did not try to up-sell me on anything new, and after he inspected the entire furnace he told me the "heat exchanger" was in good shape, and he predicted the unit should last at least another 10 years.
I will use this company again.
