My car was brought in for a checkup before taking a trip to PA. Superficial items were fixed such as fluid levels and a worn tire. I was also informed my tie rod ends needed replacing. Bernie's didn't stress to me how important it was to have the tie rods fixed and I traveled to PA. By the grace of God I made it in one piece. When I got to PA I brought my car in for tie rod service. The mechanic couldn't believe I was sent on my way with such a dangerous condition. He also pointed out there was a 12 X 20 hole on the driver's side floor (carpeting sticking out), completely worn out engine mounts, and worn out tensioner. The engine rocked in the engine compartment and the serpentine belt was shaking violently. My dad notified Bernie's of what had taken place. No response was given until he called again 4 days later. To correct the situation, he was told by the receptionist that a meeting was held informing the mechanics to be more vigilant so that such doesn't happen again to another customer.

We were traveling with our camper and experienced a serious exhaust system failure. Pontiac was the closest town so we looked for a repair shop and after a couple of calls, were referred to Bernie's. They were pleasant when we called and even more pleasant when we arrived. The mechanic took a look at the vehicle within five minutes of our arrival and reassuringly told us "I can fix that". We had about a 30 minute wait in their spotless, interesting, 1950's style waiting room. The price was reasonable and we were on our way. They saved our vacation! If I lived closer, this would be my regular auto service center.

Brought my 83 trans am to Bernie's to have exhaust work done to fit a new set of headers I put on. They put in a new cutsom Y-pipe and had it ready to go within a few days, and at minimal cost!

Took my car in because of a engine light. They said they fixed it! Well I had to take my car back two more times for the same problem with in a week. I had to take time from work to take it there because of this which I did not get paid for. I will never take my car back to them again.
