Got us back on our way very quickly after replacing a flat tire with a new one. Friendly staff, even let our dog wait inside with us so he didn't have to get hot walking around outside :)

This place is Awsome. Our AIr conditioner broke on a cross country road trip. We showed up at Rons at 745 am. They said it would be about 30 min befor they could look at it. As promised they pulled the van into the shop within 20 min and started diagnostics on the Ac system. They found the leak, replaced the hose and we were back on the road by 930.
Price was very fair and the people were great

I was really impressed with this place. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. They go out of the way to help you out And they charge fair prices. They take pride in their work and their building. We need more people like them in business.

When my car broke down last night I cant say I was thrilled. I called two towing company's, the first one told me nobody was going to help that time of night. Then I called Tatmans and they recommended Rons. This morning I got a call early on, and Rons kept me in the loop. My quote was fast, the work was fast, the staff was friendly and it was good work at an affordable price. They'll be my go-to from now on, I'm thoroughly impressed.

We bought a chevy astro van from the business across the street from Rons on June 16.
The dealer said they had to ride with us to take it to a mechanic. This made it difficult to schedule a check with our normal mechanic since it couldn’t be driven there and left, or have just my wife or I just wait for it.
They recommended Rons Truck and Auto. They said they had no affiliation with them, and that it was just a convenient place. I will say that when the day came to take it to the garage, the other person wasn’t there and I suddenly didn’t have to have him along on the check.
We wound up taking it there and they found no major issues so we went ahead and purchased the van. That weekend, we drove the van to Chicago and noticed the van was running hot. When we got back, I opened the radiator and discovered a build-up of gunk around the neck of the radiator. We took it to our normal mechanic who tried a thorough coolant system flush and we were in hopes that would resolve the issue. However it continued to run hot and ultimately, it was determined to have a leaking head gasket.
I Emailed Ron’s to give them a chance to respond or commiserate. Though I understand the nature of the head-gasket leak would make it difficult to find without specifically looking for it, I STRONGLY feel they should have spent 10 seconds looking in the radiator and should have notified us of what they found. However they didn’t. They never responded to my email.
I cannot recommend Ron’s to do this check for you.
Needless to say, I am disappointed with the results of our inspection.
