When I visit friends in Franklin I'm all about the Benjamin's. I wish they stayed open later.
Only complaint I think they pull long shots instead of the standard short shots. You might want to specify short shots if you prefer full espresso flavor.response / report this review -

Benjamin's has definitely changed since new management. From a community stakeholder that was "the" place to meet people and catch up on local happenings to now just a local coffee shop. The quality of the service and the quality of the food has not changed too much- mostly the ambiance. I still go from time to time to support local and to support my students that are employed there.

Great coffeehouse with unique coffee blends. They also serve trendy coffee as well as wraps, pastries, and sandwiches while advertising local artist works, and upcoming events. Community oriented, and right next to the courthouse with an outside courtyard to eat at, or just stay inside. Enjoy the views either way. A must see stop while in Franklin.

Truly disheartened. Benjamins has changed ownership and the new owners have demonstrated a lack of respect for the artists that display there, that is frankly shocking. They refused to pay for the work that sold off of their walls, even though it was a paltry sum. I will no longer be eating here after years and years of loyalty. The food is all microwaved and not very good anyways.

Great customer service!! I got the Ambassador. It was Awesome! I also got a smoothie. The reason I give Benjamin's 3 stars is because I had to choose 4 different times for my flavor of smoothie because they advertised having many flavors that they had run out of. I did not recieve a comp or discount for the inconvienece either. The wait was not terribly long, and the prices were fair. May return if I'm in the area again.

A good place to just sit and enjoy a conversation. Very good selection of coffee. Also have seating outside. Very nice place and very nice town.

My best friend Rebekah Crawford took me to this amazing place!!! Mango smoothie is the best thing I've ever tasted in my life, the place is adorable, the employees are fantastic, I highly recommend :)

I've been riding a weekend ride out of the Gray Goat bike shop on the weekends and this is the place to be afterwards. Super friendly people great food and coffee make this a downtown hot spot! I can't say much about the flavored fancy coffees etc because I always do a simple americano. They can do that right so I'm confident they can handle the others :) Don't be put off too much if you have to wait in line out the door. It's worth it!

Awful. Spent $3 on one small biscuit with only about a Tsp of gravy on it. Then they had the nerve to charge me 50 cents for a glass of nasty tasting water.
I would NOT recommend this dark, dingy place to anyone.response / report this review
