Dr. Wolkow at Belle Isle Animal Hospital is the absolute best! She is kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable. She saved my pup, Mindy's life! She also performed a very successful surgery on my pup, Mason, that two other vets could not do. Her continuing routine care is wonderful and I would not take my pups to anyone else! Thank you, Dr. Wolkow for all you have done and continue to do for my fur babies!
I can’t say enough things about the staff at Belle Isle. They are caring, compassionate, and treat my fur babies like their own. From boarding, routine visits, and sick visits, they are happy to help. I’m so glad to have such a great staff and facility so close to home to take care of our pets.
Best place ever!!!!!! Staff is great! And the Vet goes above and beyond! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!!
Dr.'s Wolkow and Unger are the best! I could not ask for more compassionate vets to take care of my sweet Cooper. I would highly recommend Belle Isle to anyone who loves their pet(s).
Been going to Belle Isle for several years. Great vets and staff!
Recently changed clinics and was immediately impressed with Belle Isle. From those working the front desk to the vet techs and Dr. Lipinski, everyone was terrific. Only regret is that I didn't make the change sooner.
We have been taking our cats there for several years and greatly appreciate the attention and care that is given to them.
Dr. Wolkow and Josh were very kind and supportive in guiding me through the passing of my Chihuahua Pearl. It's never easy, but they did their best to see me through the process. I'll be back, when I have a new "baby". Their staff are great, as well
As people have already said, the staff is very friendly, and I might add, competent. I am 70 years old with a year and a half old Aussie. Dr. Wolkow is not allowed to retire until Cinda has gone on to her doggie reward because I don't want any other vet to take care of her. Two years ago, my wife and I promised ourselves we would get a mellow, easy-going dog after our 13 year old Border Collie died. We screwed that up badly, but if Cinda lasts 13 years with Dr. Wolkow's able assistance, maybe we'll find a low maintenance dog for our 80s. Or not.
Treated Katie and I with Loving Kindness while I had to say goodby. Katie had been my best friend for the past sixteen years. Thanks to all of you all!!
There is no one else I'd trust to take care of my cat. The vets and techs are all exceptional, very understanding and always make sure I'm as comfortable as my fur-baby. They are simply the best!
I've been taking my dogs to Belle Isle Animal Hospital since 2006 and I am quite please with all of the staff from the front desk manager, to the technicians to the fantastic doctors! Unfortunately, I had to make the very tough decision to let my 15 yr old cocker spaniel pass peacefully last summer and Dr. Unger could not have been more empathetic and helpful in guiding me to the right decision. Not to mention the fact the she did NOT encourage expensive and stressful tests to my sweet pup that "may" have given him only a couple of more months with me. My tiniest rescue dog has had her teeth cleaned twice at the hospital and they have always taken wonderful care of my little Mimi and my sweet, blind pup Macy as well. I couldn't ask for better care for my dogs!
We have 2 Basenji's, 1 Yorkie/Pekingese mix, and 1 Cat. So we spend a good amount of time visiting Belle Isle. We are very happy with the Doctors and the whole team, including our favorite Dr. Unger. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!
We take our cat and dog to Belle Isle. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
And the place is laid back. My 6 year old son usually comes with me when we bring one or both pets. He loves it.
