Best pizza ever!!! It is well worth the money!! The honey in the crust adds an amazing flavor! Wish that we had one where we lived! If you go to Colorado and love pizza you have to here. They even have gluten and dairy free options so everyone can eat there!
The one in Idaho Springs is in a cute mining town!
Great home style pizza with a thick crust. Fun atmosphere for friends and family. Sometimes the wait is really long, but it's always worth it. The cocktails are weak. The salad bar is small and the downstairs bathroom is super tight.
Best pizza place in Idaho Springs.
I'm from New York, so my pizza standards are different, nonetheless, Beau Jo's was pretty good. They offer two types of crusts: thin or their special thicker crust option (get this one) plus pre-determined topping combos or choose-your-own. Popular among locals and visitors alike.
This place has the best pizza I've ever had! The crust is super good and honey is served to go with it. We stop here almost every time we come through. The downtown area had a bunch of cool shops as well if you are aiming for tourist type stuff, also helps when there is a wait. Great place, will be back again and again
One of my all time favorite Colorado restaurants. This one is nestled away off I70 in Idaho Springs and probably the best Beau Jo’s I’ve ever been to! The food quality is everything you’d expect and the restaurant itself is incredible! This is definitely a destination restaurant and well worth the drive!
Love coming here. I was introduced to this place a few years ago and now I come back every time I visit Co. This year was even better as they have changed up thier menu and are offering more gluten free options. My wife actually is allergic to gluten so the expanded menu items put a big smile on her face. Thanks and keep up the great work
Beau Jo's Pizza is the most amazing pizza place I have ever eaten at. It is on my most favorite restaurant list and I have traveled the 48 contiguous United States. If the wait is longer, it's worth it. I personally had quick service. Note the pizza is pretty expensive, but it is still worth it. My family actually redirects travels to pass through this wonderful town specifically to eat here. Each time I have been here I have had fantastic experiences. Very high recommendation. Tip: try the honey.
Being from New Jersey I have an east coast palate for pizza..this pizza is different. Their thick edged pizza looked good but I found it more like thick white bread and left most of it. I was not the only customer who left most of the crust. Wife's lettuce cups were good and service fine. Lots of pizza options. Give it a try..very popular.
This is a chain pizza place but the one in Idaho Springs is my favorite! I'm not sure if it's the original but it surely is rustic and strangely laid out. It's always packed in the service has always been fantastic!
It's not a cheap meal but I promise you will not leave hungry! You can choose from a thin crust or a deep dish crust that you can finish off with putting honey all over it Like a dessert.
Our waiter Zack was very attentive and noticed how much we appreciated beer. He suggested a local Brewery down the street to try out. We enjoyed ourselves very much!
If you are coming from a long day in the mountains, whether skiing or just checking out the scenery, Beau Jo's is an awesome place for the family to enjoy a great dinner together.
Friendly staff, yummy salad bar and AMAZING big thick crust pizza! Ages 5 to 65 loved it. Would definitely recommend it.
Or experience was great. Our server mike was awesome, he was always there to help us in whatever we needed. The food is great, the atmosphere was awesome you just couldn't ask for a better place. Thank you mike for everything.we will be back
Pizza is apparently the ONLY thing they're good at here including service ordered a jack and coke and got a tall w/o asking.. rookie bartender mistake.. waitress tried to convince me that it was a heavy poor and when I insisted on a short still tasted like coke.. waitress sucked.. stopped only once besides dropping food.. girlfriends chicken Caesar salad looked like they got the chicken from a road kill in front of the restaurant and a month old head of lettuce chips and salsa..salsa was probably on the border from jar but the chips were GFS purchased by the crate. waitress had personality of a deck of cards. heed my warning. beware!!!!
Have to hit Beau's every time we make a trip out to Colorado. I crave their awesome pizza year round back in Dallas. The salad bar is awesome, salad in a bathtub is most definitely unique. The pizza crust with honey afterwards is the best! Employees are friendly and restrooms are clean.
Had lunch on the way back from Keystone to Denver last Friday. We were seated immediately and it is casual so our snow gear was fine to wear while we ate. I am gluten free and they have a gluten free pizza option but I opted for a grilled veggie salad and it was exactly what I needed! Cute place and a great little town!
