I recently booked a stay at Beach Quarters Resort in Daytona Beach Florida. I am in need of placing a very negative review for this property. The place was a total rat hole. I did not have a door on the closet. The microwave was extremely rusty in and out. The refrigerator have a huge hole on the inside and it was dirty, The thermostat did not have a cover, The dishwasher was disgusting in and out, Patio was filthy with debris of some sort, there was not a curtain in the living room, the bath tub was dirty and full of rust, the pull out sofa had urine stains all over it. As advertised on your site we were to get a bottle of wine. That did not happen either. I have to say that although it is in a great location. The property is Horrible. I took a video of the room if anyone wants to view it. Honestly I would prefer some type of credit. I had a horrible stay with my wife and kids. I work for a corporate office that services hotels world wide. I have had done my fair share of traveling and booking accommodations. I have to say this has been the worst accommodations I have ever experienced and I have experienced many. Needless to say that I will Never stay at this property ever again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

This place is great. We had a good deal online for a short stay and the staff was more than eager to make sure our room was stocked and cleaned everyday. The rooms are huge and the view is unforgettable! It's like having a mini house in one room. Kitchen has full stove and oven a dishwasher and even plates and kitchenware to cook all your food. The only thing I would change here is a new paint job and fully working appliances. Our dishwasher didn't work but that's okay cause we still got hands to clean. The man at the front counter was so friendly and always said good morning to us. Will be returning here as much as possible!

What a great VIEW!! I sat watching TV with the sea breeze flowing through my hair and the sound of the waves breaking musical concerto to my ears. Before too long, I had the sound turned down and relaxation came forth. I closed my eyes and fell into a short sleep. I awoke to a light door knock. Feeling zen-like, I lazily got up from the couch and answered the door. It's time for dinner with friends.
Lets cut to the chase, if you're a Hilton and the likes person, who must have 5 star like amenities and decor, this place may not be for you. BUT if you're laid back, appreciates true meaning of life and not afraid of vintage settings; then this place is definitely for you. I've stayed at Hiltons and Sheratons, and similar others, but they don't come close to what Beach Quarters did for my soul. Upon entry, seeing the magnificent view was topped only when I opened the double doors to the balcony facing the ocean. Maybe it was the season, but my stay costs me nothing near what I expected. My room was like an efficiency, equipped with everything needed for normal living. How convenient. Even though I didn't have time for it, the pool looked very nice and clean. I have to admit, the thought occurred to me to slip into the ocean for a brisk swim followed by a relaxing soaking in the pool. Small hotel. Beach front. My room is tiny but the view more than makes up for it. Staff are lovely & friendly. Needs upgrading but no complaints at all

Retouching condos, the staff is awesome. Love that new paint and curtains. Would have been more comfortable with a chair in the living room. Only a love seat doesn't work well for 2 big people. Very quiet and relaxing place, can't wait to go back.

Had originally booked this "resort" for myself and my 10yr old daughter as a cheap alternative trying to save a few dollars. After reading reviews prior to my arrival I canceled and I'm glad I did. Unfortunately 2 of my friends did not. Visiting my friends one night and only one night I immediately felt justified in canceling my reservation. Lucky for the owners and myself I only saw this place at night, I can't imagine the horror I would have found in the sun light. The building is in terrible condition, it smells of mold, it looks like it hasn't been taken care of or maintained for years. Anyone who says this place is anything but terrible has no standards of cleanliness, safety, or are completely unaware that there are far better options for the same or lesser price as I was able to find. I can't imagine this place will be open much longer

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! We used our credit card points to book this place labor day weekend 2017 so We could house hunt. We pulled up and a window looked busted out. We went to our room and there was water damage on the ceiling, the fridge made an ungodly sound, the dead bolt didn't lock. So we left immediately. The front deak people had left for the night so we left our key in the drop box. My husband spent days trying to get our points back. When my husband called the hotel and he said his name they hung up on him.. twice! Our bank had to call and get it all fixed and we still got charged for 1 night. Terrible. Navy Federal Credit Union is removing them from their points hotel option.

Location is good, hotel needs some repairs, friendly employees, hotel manager the nicest people you could find in Daytona Beach Shores. Gave it 3 stars cause rooms needs some upgrading, once they upgrade the rooms easily would be a 5 star hotel.

The beach view was so exciting, and I woke up to a breath taking sunrise! The building is a little worn, but it wasn't an expensive room. Good bed, good shower . we told the manager we want to stay there again!

Where do I begin? First off, the room said it had a pull out couch in the living room which I did not! The TV setup was ghetto! One light out in the bathroom and couldn't clearly see what I was doing! Had to plunge the toilet several times and several times the toilet wouldn't flush at all. Had to listen to the elevator all night every night! No light over stove! The bedroom looked nothing like in the photo! No lighting in the parking lot! Kids playing basketball around vehicles! Terrible water pressure! No ice maker in hotel! Phone in the room didn't work! Wifi didn't work! And no phone signal on my cell here either! The bedroom blanket was thin and just pathetic! The kids at the pool ran and jumped and screamed and threw things, savage animals! You get locked out after dark and if you forget your key your screwed! Refrigerator rusted, bathroom moldy, and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting about 10 more things! Worst decision ever! But the view was perfect! And we found out later that we paid $50 a night too much! If you want to have a miserable stay then stay here! No luxury what so ever! Oh and if the hotel responds to this I'm sure this is what they will say because I've read the reviews after the fact and this is what they said to most who gave a bad review:::: "We apologize for the inconvenience you may have had. We are unable to trace your stay with us. We cannot find any reservation in your name.
We hope you choose our hotel for your next stay and we are so confident that we can assure you will enjoy your time at our property." There is no way in hell you could assure I would enjoy a stay there unless you demolished and rebuilt! The one star is for the view only!response / report this review -

This hotel was absolutely gross. The floors were so stained we wouldn't take off our shoes. The couch so dirty we put a sheet over it to sit down. The air vent was held up by scotch tape. And the bedroom was missing a closet door and the other missing a handle. The appliances and bathtub were rusted. The only positive about this hotel was the location. I know it was outdated and we used as a last minute cheap vacation but all I ever want is somewhere clean to sleep and this was not it.
