What a FABULOUS little place tucked away on St. Pete Beach! Wow! The room was completely updated with a full size fridge, microwave, shower with shampoo & soap dispensers, a lovely gated back balcony, grills, laundry, GIANT CHESS GAME and complimentary beer & wine until 3-5pm
The concierge was friendly, helpful and delightful. Andrew made sure I was checked in, amenities explained and helped me navigate the sprawling properties. When I saw my room and the waterfront accessibility, I was ecstatic! I met some great folks during Happy Hour and we shared wine 🍷 on the dock and watched the moon rise. My wife and I have been coming to the Bayview Plaza Resort for years. We haven't had a bad experience yet. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. Everything is right is walking distance, once there we seldom drive anywhere. We enjoy the docks the most. Fishing is good and you can see all kinds of animals (water and land). We just left in May and already have reservation for next year. Looking forward to it.

Beautiful hotel, nice people that work there. Remember to put the do not disturb on the door and get a cabana ahead of time for the pool.

great value for the price. we love staying at the bayview plaza, with a room facing the bay. We've stayed there several times. It's peaceful and fun to sit out back (plenty of spaces) and watch the birds and flying fish! The place on the beach is literally just across the street, so that is convenient, too. Pharmacy and grocery are within easy walking distance. I did not give it a 5-star rating because of all the smokers who stay there. It would be great if they banned smoking completely, not just in (some of??) the rooms

We stayed here for a week in the second floor king. The view from the room and balcony was great! On the water there were 2 decks that you could fish off of if you like. The beach was right across the street which my wife and I would go to view the sunset every day. The staff was helpful and would check in by text message every couple of days.

I highly recommend that you check with the resort if you book through a third party to MAKE SURE YOU'RE GETTING WHAT YOU'RE EXPECTING AND PAYING FOR! They'll beat third party rates, it's their policy. Don't make the same mistake we did! What we actually had booked was a queen suite with balcony, what we got was a double efficiency no balcony. We did get upgraded to the penthouse but only for two nights of our stay. We then had to move back to the double efficiency no balcony room.
