Fine for a budget stay. Room was clean and fairly quiet. Breakfast quite limited. Don't know if this is for all rooms, but at least in mine I couldn't really open the blinds as the only window faced out to a well-frequented pathway

Simple hotelnot very fancy but enough to enjoy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple for bagel cereal and coffee which was enough for a quick bite, or next door they have a waffle House which offers 10% with room key. I would stay again.

Just stayed at this hotel over a football weekend had 2 rooms and both were GREAT, recently remodeled. This is not the Ritz, but for $60 a night very suitable, clean, secure and Staff was awesome No shady characters lurking around it's actually in a really nice area shopping, restaurants close to FSU

It's the people in places like this that make traveling a pleasure. Yolanda was amazing. I will stay here again just for her upbeat accommodating personality.
As for the hotel itself, just a standard room, with the standard amenities a refrigerator a coffee machine, microwave. The king size bed was soft and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was a plus. .response / report this review -

Interior of room fine. Staff very nice. Staff get 5 stars. Enter rooms from exterior of building. We had room by stairwell which was very noisy. AC unit also very noisy. Breakfast was fine

My family and I drove to Tallahassee from Tampa last Sunday evening in the middle of Hurricane Irma with no place to go. Driving through Monroe St. we founded this hotel and stop to ask if they had any spare rooms. With so many people evacuating South Florida early in the week I never thought we had a chance to find a place to stay the night in Tallahassee. Fortunately and for my surprise we were very welcome at Baymont Inn & Suites at a reasonable price. They even were able to accommodate us in the 1st level due to my dad been in a wheel chair. Great service and friendly staff. Thank you for been such a good human beings and help others in moments of need. God bless you and thank you.

Was pretty much a stop, sleep and go. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner could cool the room faster, but was adequate. Good value for what we spent.

On the first night I slept on Nasty and Stained BLOODY PILLOWCASE and AC barely working. Contacted the front desk staff and they apologize for my inconvenience. After the housekeeper clean the room she left the same exact pillowcase on the bed. Went to the front desk staff and the Gentleman exchange the pillowcase and told me to move the table from in front on the AC and it would finally work. Asked the Gentleman at the Front Desk for a call from the Manager and I'm still waiting to this day

This hotel (motel) is not what I've come to expect from the Baymont chain. At check-in the night clerk was very short with us. When asked about the hot breakfast that we normally love at Baymont, she said they have a continental breakfast with donuts and you get a discount at the Waffle House. When we arrived to our King non-smoking room, the room reeked and smelled as though someone had just smoked a carton of cigarettes. Only one light in the room worked and the carpet felt damp. As we were walking back to the front to request a room change there were people laying on the ground outside rooms and speaking as though they were intoxicated. If it weren't for it being a holiday weekend and most of the hotels being sold out, we would have left immediately.

The room itself was quite nice. It was a little muggy when we got into it as the a/c was off. Parking was a little troublesome, but we did get in late. The bathroom did have some mold on the walls of the shower near the ceiling.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean but needs updating. Staff were friendly and nice. Would stay here again if the owners update the rooms. Otherwise it was decent stay.Update : 4/15/2017 had to check out of the Baymont due to some nasty discoveries. Ice bucket cover was nasty and had some kind of black growth on it, a/c wasn't working properly also once the covers were pulled back from the bed the sheets had stains on them. Could​ not and will not stay there nor can I recommend staying there. Made another reservation at Courtyard Marriott, night and day difference!
