What an absolutely Beautiful office with a home like atmosphere that makes you feel so comfortable . Staff is always welcoming , attentive and always runs on time. It is very hard to draw my blood and The medical assistant Dana never has a problem she gets my vein every single time. I have complete trust and respect for Dr. Hargrove and her staff and highly recommend her .

I'm 46 and for the past few years was convinced that I was starting menopause or in perimenopause. I was very depressed for no reason, unable to loose weight and gaining weight, and painful periods. I became extremely frustrated at my Gynecologist and Primary Doctor and their responses to my symptoms. One said that because my periods where on time that I was not in menopause.and that was that. My primary Doctor told me the same thing then handed me a prescription for anti-depressants. I don't like "masking" symptoms with pills so I did not take them. I wanted to find out what the cause of my symptoms. After reading and doing research I realized that I needed to find a doctor that specialized in Women, hormones, perimenopause and menopause. I also knew that if I needed hormones I didn't want to take any synthetic ones. I needed to find a doctor that used biodentical hormones.

It is HARD to find a gynecologist that has extra training and experience to treat women going through menopause. I finally found Dr. Hargrove. I live in Lakeland and drive to St. Petersburg to see her. I don't mind at all. She is wonderful! At my first visit I told her my symptoms and she said "I don't believe that you are in menopause. It's sounds like you are low in testosterone but we will check your levels and if there is something off you can make a decision on how you want treatment". I WAS low in testosterone and I am being treated with bio-dentical hormones that are inserted (pellets) into my hip every 3-4 months. I immediately felt better. It was a night and day difference in my mood. My heavy periods where caused by a large polyp which she removed in an outpatient surgery. It was so nice to talk to a doctor that actually listened to me and then worked on finding the cause to the issues.

Dr. Hargroves office staff is wonderful as well. Her office is ran efficiently and her staff is knowledgeable in their respective areas. Because they are so knowledgeable whether they are scheduling, working with insurance/billing, or assisting dr. hargrove (nursing staff) it made me feel very confident in any type of treatment and care I receive.

So happy I found this doctor. I would recommend her to anyone!

I have been going to Doctor Hargrove for years. I love the new office and staff. I find that she takes time to answer my questions and always gets back to me when I have a question. All my visits have been very close to on time and my concerns are addressed. I feel much better and no hot flashes. Thank you Dr. Hargrove :)

I am so impressed with Dr. Hargrove, she is diligent and compassionate. I'm all about prevention and nutrition and it is so nice to find a like minded doctor. I'm now taking bio identical hormones that she has administered. Wow is all I can say as my quality of life is much improved!
