Whether you live here or are in town for vacation you must make take the time to eat here on their waterfront deck to see the sunset! It's stunning! And the food is delicious. Don't worry they have a bit of everything not just fish, but if you love fish you have to try the grouper sandwich and coconut shrimp!

Awesome place. It was some of the best food I have had and the price is reasonable. Brittany our server was fantastic and fun. Spent some time talking about Tampa and the area. Incredible service. Love this place we will be back.

This was a day for my best friends small, eloped wedding on Treasure Island. We decided to "reception" afterward. It was a beautiful wedding followed by a wonderful experience at Gator's. And as always wait staff came fast. Food came fast. It was delicious! Everything! We sat outside and although the day sweltering, it was so nice out on the decks!!! Admiring the little brigde there, the water was serene. And there were a few boats passing which was fun to see.

I really like this place. Everything I've had from the menu has been outstanding. The atmosphere is one of the best in the area. I recommend going Monday through Friday for happy hour, sitting outside, and timing it so you can watch the sun set as you finish your meal. Great place for a casual and special date.

I have been going here for years and its always been good but recently Gator's has been really great! The have a new menu, and new food decor. The presentation and quality is top notch. I ate 3 appetizers all made with fresh real crab, grouper, and shrimp that were delicious! The key lime pie and salted
Carmel cheesecake was a nice addition and presented in very classy manner.

My first time here. Food is good, service is ok. 3 in my party all ordered coffee. They came in 3 different size mugs. I didn't care since everywhere I've ever got coffee it's free refills. Not here! I was told they are not free refills. When I asked to speak to mgr since I'm paying the same price although every cup is a different size. Waitress comes back and tells me the mgr is too busy to talk to me. Great..I've worked in restaurants in NY as a manager, server, bartender, cook, etc. I've never seen anywhere charge for coffee refills or have I ever heard of a mgr too busy to talk to a customer ..guess whatI will never come back!

We love the outdated, kitschy decor. We don't mind slow service when it is busy. We give our servers a smile when they need one. You have to be a good customer with a positive mindset when dining out and you should always try to give and leave your wait staff with a good feeling and they will do the same for you. Almost forgot, we could show you pics of all the many entrees we tried because they weren't on the table longer than 5 minutes because they went into our satisfied bellies really quick. A shout out to an outstanding server named Liz. She is super sweet and very attentative, even on a busy game night. You rock!!

Perfect place for dinner when we stay at the beach. The view is awesome especially at sunset. Drinks were ok, food was good. I had the grouper sandwich. Very big, fried and with a lot of breading but I really liked it. Service was slow but we took the kids outside to the dock area for some pics.

Went for supper and had a great time. Our fish was cooked perfectly with nice flavors. Grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. French fries were awesome as well.Patricia was friendly and attentive. We ate outside (cloudy with a breeze in August ) and saw dolphins swimming by and the drawbridge go up . Happy family time , exactly what we were hoping for on beach vacation.

Slow service that is great for sticking around and watching the water, enjoying company, food, and drinks. Take your time while you're here to enjoy the scenery. Food is pretty good, but not spectacular - this is not a complaint. The drinks are decent and everything is well priced, given the portions are pretty large. This is a family favorite, and family friendly establishment. Park across the street, park by Hubbard's, or pull up in your boat. Food, music, salty air, and drinks. This is Florida.

A casual family place on the water at Johns Pass Bridge. There is good entertainment nightly. A great variety of fresh seafood is available as well as standard bar food. Full liquor bar. Service was good on both of our visits.

Went to Gators on a recommendation of our Uber driver. We were very glad we did. The food was great and the atmosphere was as well. We ate on the deck and had a wonderful experience dining on the bay. The kids loved the boats, birds, and dolphins we saw during dinner, and even got to see the draw bridge go up. Great place to go.

Enjoyed our experience at Gators very much. The live music was fabulous, the wait staff was friendly and the atmosphere was upbeat and relaxed all at the same time. I really liked that they offered 10% discount to families who all placed their phones in a basket to enjoy "Family time." Definitely want to return when we are in the area again!

I used to work at Gators Cafe and Saloon as a bartender and server. It is one of the best places I have ever worked. The scenery in Treasure Island, Florida, is amazing!!! I was very fortunate to work there. I love the drinks and the food and the live bands every night, bike night every Friday night, at West Deck, Bikini Contest on Saturdays. Everything about Gators Cafe and saloon rocks!!!
