I've only had pasta and a couple of sandwiches here, as well as the arancini. Several times. All of it was fantastic. The red sauce has a great homemade taste, pasta is cooked just right It's a small place with only a few tables, and food is mostly made to order, so you have to wait a little, but it's definitely worth it.

Basta Pasta used to be great but on our recent visit we were disappointed by both dishes we got. The homemade pasta didn't taste great and there was barely any meat in the Bolognese.

Great food ! Especially the pizza and the fries.
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Actually we're not from Boston so he gave us some advice e.g. where we should go for sights.

Very happy that we found this little restaurant.

The pasta wasn't bad and the portion was sizable. But at nearly $15 for a chicken marsala, I was expecting a little more, either in the amount of pasta itself or in the quality of the dish. I walked away appeased but not wholly satisfied.

Great place for authentic Italian pasta dishes with fresh pasta as good as the North end. The sandwiches are also great

Amazing food!! Nice place to eat for a great price! I have been coming to Basta pasta since the first day the opened Was a little nervous about how late not they would last being in Coast on Western Ave. But im so glad their Amazing food and service still stands!!

Made to order pasta joint. Small Kitchen but can tell all items are made to order from scratch from quality ingredients. Visited on a friday night BUSY seating for maybe 20 mostly a take out place but china counter service.

So good. I go here approximately once a week and I haven't gotten bored yet. It's hard to find Italian food this good outside of the North End (and this place is significantly cheaper too). They don't deliver, though.
