I went here for a work function and honestly I wasn't super impressed. Wine selection for the event was really not good at all. All Argentina wine, which isn't great but is super cheap. The food was fine I guess but nothing to write home about.
Excellent food and experience. This restaurant focused on tapas (small plates). Each plate is around 7-8 bucks. There is a wide variety to choose from, and there are certain options available only during brunch.
My wife and I split 6 tapas (two brunch, two regular, and two dessert), and it was more food than we could eat. All 6 plates were delicious.
In addition, the restaurant has a Build Your Own Mimosa bar, which is neat.
Overall, it's great food and a great way to try some very unique dishes.
We have gone to Barcelona many times. It's not perfect, but it is a consistent and good experience.
The Tapas change from time to time but there's always something delicious and interesting. The dishes are creative and refined. They have an extensive wine list and one night a week where the wine is half price.
I drink cocktails and their bartenders very in quality. Sometimes the drinks are a little too sweet and, for example, the last time that I was there my old-fashioned was cloudy and sweet. The restaurant tends to be loud and crowded so that tables feel a little too close together. For example, I couldn't go to the restroom without moving our table and rubbing up against the person's chair he was sitting at the table next to us.
The place has a good feel to it. The service is friendly and, like most tapas restaurants, makes for a slow meal of socializing. We enjoy people watching at the sidewalk tables when the weather is right.
The servers were great. The food was excellent! Every bite of food was phenomenal! I don't say that lightly or with any exaggeration. We enjoyed every dish! Every piece of the hangar steak was cooked perfectly. The duck egg migas was terrific. If your tastes for food are anything like ours, you won't be disappointed!
One of the best dining experiences ive ever had. Tremendous staff really really works hard to ensure the best experience. Honestly can't stop raving about it all. Complimentary tapas and everything. THE BREAD. OH MY GOD THE BREAD. i probably ate about two loaves. Every dish was elegant and excellent
Servers are very knowledgeable of the food and wine, they gave us the perfect recommendations. A great place for a nice meal where you are not rushed. Loved the atmosphere!
Food was a bit saltier than we like. The wait was horrible for the weekend. We were never called after 1.5 hours, they totally forgot about us. Finally go seated and manager offered us some plates on him, hope it wasn't charged to the waiter. Wait staff was attentive during meal but as soon as all the small plates came out, couldn't even get attention for water refill. The food small plate choices were decent but as stated, salty for our taste buds. Drink selection was definitely the reason why this place is popular, it was vast! We probably won't come back but glad we went and tried it out.
Loved it from the very beginning! James, gave me a great mini tour at the kitchen with a sample of the cheese and bruschetta. Everyone treated us like family! I will definitely recommend them! Cara, our waitress was awesome, and is now a family member!
My favorite place to get tapas and good wine. Also has one of the best drinks menus in town. The space is open and rustic, great vibe and atmosphere, and lots of attractive people. It's also a nice place to hangout during nice days or evenings since they have outside sitting. The food is excellent, my favorite dishes are the grilled octopus, the meat balls, and the flank steak. Also, their fresh baked bread is delicious, so you'll find yourself having to stop eating so much of it.
So my hubby and I bragged so much about this place to our kids that we decided to take my daughter for her birthday on Jan 28 for lunch. The service was not good as it has been in the past and the food was not up to par. Not sure what the problem was today. Maybe dinner is better than lunch? My kids were not happy to say the least.
Went to Barcelona with the gf to celebrate. Place was very nice on the inside it felt high end but we dined on the outside. Which made it great for her and I. Service was great price were about right for a high end restaurant. The wine were perfect, chef and waiters were extremely informative and gave us advice on which wine went best with which food. Excellent vibes from me . I highly recommend.
