No mas has very decent food but unfortunately the service, consistency, and accuracy is off. I have received the wrong items more times than I have received what I actually ordered (rather dining in or to go). Unfortunately they just can't seem to get it right. I will not be dining here for a while due to this and the amount of additional time it adds to my dining experience.
Very unique place. Don't judge by the surrounding area. Great food and art all in one place. Fair prices, healthy options and great tastes Yum!
No idea how this place has such high ratings. The service, food and drinks were all awful. Also gave me a minor case of food poisoning. Took forever to get just water. Margaritas were supposedly made from fresh limes, but they were definitely from a mix and I couldn't even finish it because it was gross. Left most of my food behind too, yet I still got sick from it. Definitely won't be returning here.
Great big restaurant. Nice decor. Awesome environment. Good drinks. Guacamole could be better for such an awesome Mexican restaurant. But overall great place.
No mas indeed. This was our first and last trip here. Nothing to get excited about. We were in town and tried because it had a high rating. Folks at the front were great, our waitress was not. We shared guac appetizeryuk Just tasted of lime and garlic salt. We left most of it. No flavor. Our fajitas had a good flavor but arrived rather cool. No sizzle on the plate at all. The real high point was when we both drank every drop of water on the table and our waitress still wasn't anywhere in sight. It was so bad that I finally got up and went to the bus station and bought the pitcher over to refill our glasses. The table next to us gave me a sad smile over their empty glasses!
The eating experience is like no other. It is evident that the owners did not skimp on anything in this place, at all! From everything to the house made fresh and unique food choices (e.x. blue corn pancakes with fresh piloncillo syrup) to the extravagant decor that captures the essence of the true artistic Mexican culture. And the food is of course delicious! Great place to eat. (We ate breakfast here).
Great place for chilling out with friends on a Friday night or a weekend brunch. Food is great, decent quantities. The fried plantains we're awesome! Loved the mimosas and the bloody maria. The coffee from their cafe was amazing albeit a little too sweet.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal (fajitas for 2) and great service with a great atmosphere! My wife and I will definitely be back for a date nite. The food was plentiful in portion and taste was spectacular! If I didn't have to go to work we would have enjoyed some adult beverages and stayed longer but duty called. Ask for Tony, our server, he was attentive and has a great demeanor
I will preface this by saying we've been here several times, and while service has occasionally been somewhat spotty (the waitstaff aren't that attentive), it has never been this bad. Our service last night was absolutely heinous. We were seated and waited nearly thirty minutes before our waiter, a tall black young man who did not state his name, came up and said he was our waiter. He gave us chips and salsa. More time, we're through a good chunk of the salsa, and finally someone comes to get our drink order. By now, we're parched, but also more than ready to order food too. So we order an appetizer and our entrees, along with three margaritas.
More time passes. We beg some busboy for water. More time. We get our appetizers, and we ask for water again. Finally we get water. Our margaritas are nowhere in sight. Our chips are down to crumbs--and our appetizers are guacamole and queso, so I'm not sure how we're supposed to eat them. A waitress came up and gave us more chips finally. Our waiter comes out and asks us each what we had ordered.
More time passes. We've been there almost an hour. Finally that same waitress brings us two (read: not three) margaritas, one of which is the wrong kind. We send it back. I'm hungry and pissed off. More waiting. I get my margarita. We're still missing one.
Finally, our food comes. One order is completely wrong. I'm ridiculously angry but trying to contain myself because we had a guest in from out of town. When the waiter comes back to ask how everything is, I tell him it's wrong, and that we don't want anything to replace it, just take it off the ticket. He disappears with the plate before I can tell him that we're still missing our third margarita.
The last margarita comes, finally, halfway into our meal. The waiter tries to give us a little bracelet, but no one takes it. We tell him to give us boxes to go, and he retreats. The ticket comes, and is wrong. We're charged for a pitcher and two glasses of margaritas, instead of three margaritas. That's a $22 difference. He fixes it and comes back with four of those little bracelets. We paid over a hundred dollars for the worst meal experience I've ever had. If we hadn't had a guest, I would have demanded a manager immediately and given him an earful. I am so, so angry, and I will never be back here.
Where to start?
The food was amazing and delicious. The atmosphere and dining area was clean and inviting. Our server was amazingly sweet and nice and made the experience even better.
My friend and I ended up ordering the same dish which was the flounder on the blackened rice. I ordered an additional fish tacos. The fish tacos were good however i do prefer my fish to not be fried. We ordered drinks and thought that they could be a bot stronger i didn't even taste the alcohol. The queso and salsa were great. We definitely will be returning soon.
Really a great restaurant and a really fun experience. This place is huge. Cafe + Restaurant + cabana + Mexican market + there's a sushi place in the corner that's part of the building as well. We had fajitas. The beef was a little tough but other than that it was all really really good.
Home made tortillas! There's just not a better way to do it.
Margarita was top notch! We'll certainly be back!
I went with some friends for brunch on Sunday. Parking was great, I had steak and eggs, the steak was flavorful and my mango mimosa was delicious as well. We sat outside as it was a great day, we sat and talked so long that we were ready to eat again and order some margarita pitchers but we waited too long for someone to clear the table and wait on us. I do think it may have been due to changing shifts because my experience has always been a great one.
I would say something helpful about this restaurant, however they are doing everything they need to do to make me happy!!! Coolest restaurant I've ever seen and the food is phenomenal! Perfect place to take the woman of your dreams!
The decor is gorgeous!! The food isn't spectacular but I've been several times and would go again. The best time is during lunch. They have pretty good lunch specials and their drinks are good also. I haven't had a problem with service yet.
First, the ambiance of this restaurant is great. The decor prepares you to partake in an amazing feast. But apparently No Mas! paid attention to the "bland tasting" reviews. Sadly, everything I ate today from my enchiladas to the guacamole was extremely salty and tasted nothing like authentic Mexican. For the price, I'd expect much more. I don't understand why there are so many high reviews for such sub-par cuisine.
