Was not to familiar before it was renovated. But I went with my great aunt and grandma for thanksgiving. We made reservations for 230 inside. We used valet parking as all most parking was taken and my aunt and grandma can't walk to far. Valet was quick and very nice gentlemen assisted us. We went in 25 minutes before our inside reservation and they were able to sit us outside which had a nice view. It rained and they lowered plastic walls and raised them as soon as the rain stopped. Even though it was set to rain 30 minutes later which was nice. I had a steak burger which was cooked to order. Whiskey on the rock was very light with the liquor. Overall, I'd probably prefer to go there for lunch. Waitress was very attentive. I just wasn't wowed by the place.

Loved Loved. Great music on Sunday, outside, slightly too loud. Ambiance great as the food outstanding along with Ashley's service! Valet parking, a godsend can't wait to go back!

First I’d like to say the scenery is lovely. We
ordered the spinach dip and chips. The dip was fine but the chips were not fresh. The four of us ordered fish or seafood. All was fresh. The service was good. The rating would’ve been higher if the chips were fresh.

Visited the newly remodeled boynton Beach banana boat 11\11\2017.
The flooring, furnishings and accessories are awesome. Love the new bathrooms and all paint colors!
We sat at outside bar and good thing the new bar stools were comfy as we sat and sat and finally had to ask for service, she (tonya) replied that's why I'm here!
Not a good answer she continued with bad service, the food was great love the lemon vinaigrette! Such a nice place with great water view and boats!maybe get some personality behind bar to go with.

I have been going to the banana boat for years. The disrespect to the locals is driving most of us away after the reopening. The destruction of the $5 happy hour menu was the biggest shock of disrespect to the locals. The bartenders should be serving drinks not Distributing food off an open tray. That work needs to be done by a server. The owners of the banana boat have gotten greedy and forgot the locals who put them there where they are at today. Banana Boat now is making more money / unit off the happy hour menu then the main menu. Good luck.

We had a reservation for a high top at the outside patio for 4pm.Arrived at 3:50 and was sat.Are view were people standing at the bar and paint buckets because of the remodel.Waited 10 min. no service had to ask the bartender for a server.Server finally came and said we can not do happy hour at a table only the bar.I requested a manager she came and said the same thing.I looked at her and said are you kidding me as that's not what your ad says.The ad we brought says happy hour is from 4-7 mon.-sat. and wheres the ocean view.Total b.s. we ended up walking out and never will return.

They designed the bar to facilitate the employees and not customers. Lost 5 or 6 bar seats with the best view for a service area. Now customers sitting at tables have a nice view of the service bar. Lost my business.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful water view from the dock. My wife said the fish was excellent. I had a salad and it was great. Seens like a popular place. Can be crowded. $$.

Love coming here whenever I go down to visit my dad. We love to sit outside on the dock and have lunch and a few drinks watching the boats pass by. And it's even nicer when there's live music which they have from time to time.

We came on Easter Sunday be sure to have a reservation. The wait was an hour I'm from the area so it wasn't a worry they text when your table is ready. There was a special Easter menu. We ordered the pu pu platter it was delicious and Banana Boat has the BEST wings in South Florida. The frozen drinks were amazing. Staff was very attentive.
