  Baldwin has been a great addition to KC and offers so much more than great denim. Most of what I wear comes from Baldwin or is inspired by their styles. Their staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

  The Baldwin store is a great addition to KC. It has quality denim, tees, and hats. They provide staple pieces for any wardrobe. I've visted the original Standard multipe times, and Baldwin on the plaza a few. Unfortunately, even though it is a Christian run company the sale associates are not exceptionally friendly. I went to Baldwin to purchase some jeans and there was a female sale's associate who wouldn't open the door, even though it was after 10 a.m. (the listed opening time). I went ahead and waited 10 minutes and came back.
  
  Since it was my first time visiting the store I tried to ask her for advice and make small talk. Not only would she not make menial conversation she wouldn't talk at all. It was extremely awkward asking someone advice when they barely looked at you. I was the only one in the store and disappointed. I almost left and then a male associate came in and started suggesting different items. I am very satisfied with the purchase, however I thought the company would stand apart and provide genuine and friendly service.
  
  If I wanted to buy a pair of good quality jeans with snooty staff there are other store I could visit. I wanted to support Baldwin because it is local. In the future I don't know if I'll go back, especially if the sale's associates are rude and unfriendly. I hope my case in the exception.
