Honestly best tacos I’ve had in a while!! Very authentic, lots of flavour in the right way. Very important to make a reservation ahead of time, otherwise it is impossible to get a table. Pitchers of margaritas are definitely a great idea to order along with the delicious tacos. Great ambience, great music and decoration

Really enjoyed our time here. I had the seasonal Margarita which was grapefruit and it was delicious. Great choice of top shelf Liquors. Their guacamole and queso were amazing and the tacos were fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back.

Revitalization of OTR has attracted several great restaurants and shops especially on Vine Street, and Washington Park is only blocks away, an easy walk. Bakersfield OTR is a "must go to" destination for anyone visiting downtown Cincinnati. Having been to Bakersfield OTR many times we always include this on places to visit when guests are in town. The Mexican inspired menu is simple and delicious and the margaritas are superb. Service is excellent. The restaurant is so popular with locals there is often a wait for a table for groups of 3 or more, but the experience is well worth it. Seating at the bar is usually easy for 2-3 people. I highly recommend Bakersfield OTR!

My husband and I visited Bakersfield for the first time. I have to say it’s some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!!! The server/bartender Jason was awesome!! Super friendly and helpful! Cool guy!! The food was outstanding!! The guacamole was the bomb!! And the pickled jalapeños!!! Awesome!!! Will definitely be back.see you soon Jason!

So good! I went for the Shrimp and Al Pastor tacos - each one was packed with flavor. I recommend the Queso - great appetizer dish and the chips are delicious as well. Friendly and fast service. Wild west themed restaurant with a cozy setting. First dining experience in Cincinnati and I highly recommend this place.

There's typically a wait especially on the weekends but it's always worth it! Absolutely amazing tacos and tequila!!! Me and my family always love coming to Bakersfield!!

We had a wonderful waitress named Sarah. She really made are experience memorable and fun! We will be back to see her and eat some delicious tacos in the process!

We ate there for the first time today. Delicious food made in-house (tortillas, salsa, and chips included) and the service was over-the-top! They have a unique seasonal pineapple margarita! They also offer some vegetarian options. I only wish they took reservations, but that is the case most Over-the-Rhine restaurants.

Food was great! Staff was amazing! Location and environment were awesome. However, they do have to lower the music level. You have to yell across the table. Care when walking around late at night, kind of sketchy.

I've been here several times and it never disappoints. Usually there is a wait, but the staff is very good about getting you a table ASAP. The food and margaritas are delicious. Some vegetarian options as well.

Amber was such a great waitress for my mom and me tonight. She had such a friendly personality. Even though the restaurant was packed, she took her time with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Amber is definitely an employee that

I give this place 2 stars because the service is bad. The staff is rude and very pushy. They get mad when you ask them how much longer till you get a table when it's 25 MIN PAST your wait time. We waited so long and I wouldn't mind if they were just honest and not so rude about it! The waitress we had was nice but she was in such a hurry to get our order she barely looked at us and barely even spoke about the food. It was not a personal experience at all!
However, the food was okay. It was good but not the best. I wouldn't really go out of my way to eat there.response / report this review
