I had my first Bag Burger when I was 3 and I look forward to one every year. They have the most distinctive taste of any burger I've ever tasted and the secret sauce with curly fries is the BEST I've ever had. The atmosphere is the perfect acomanyment to any day on the slopes or on the golf course.
Good slopeside restaurant/bar. Friendly, reasonably priced for a ski area.
This place has the BEST burger. I highly recommend it. I even got it to-go and it was heaven on earth.
Do not recommend. Service was very poor and the food was also poor. We only expected pub food, but even that was not good. Soup of the day was likely from a Can, salad was missing ingredients, fries with cheese is more like fries with cheez whiz, to name a few. To top it all off, the service was awful! She didn’t get all our orders and could not split the bill saying that she didn’t remember who had what and that it was just easier to split evenly. We didn’t leave a tip and server asked why we told her we were not happy with service and she just walked away. Would not recommend.
Good hearty bar food. If you go there expecting something else, you will be disappointed, like I was. Burgers and beer are their best things, and those are truly excellent. A lovely waitress (am I allowed to use that word?) recommended their pizza as the best in Maine. She was a very nice lady, but she needs to get off the mountain and eat some good Italian. It was terrible. Stick to the bar food and you will have a good time.
Friendly service and outstanding pizza
Went in the summer. Friendly place, good beer, good food. Check it out!
The food is absolutely amazing! Will definitely come back every time I visit sugarloaf.
Good spot for Apres Ski especially if the Widomaker is all jammed up. Cozy seating so if you are four larger people pass on the booths. Start with the house made chips.
Great service and decent food is well priced for being on the mountain
If the goal is to get a table at 1pm and get a couple runs in after lunch. I would recommend anywhere else.
The food is good, but it takes 2+ hours to get seated and another 1+ hour to get food.
Not an isolated incident. 12/30 took 2 hours from walking in to eating food. 12/31 took 3. Unfortunately not worth the effort.
The bag & kettle is your classic New England ski restaurant. 15 dollar cheeseburgers, 30 minute wait, and is more overcrowded than a cow barn. But everything is worth the wait when you taste some of the food. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit when you come here, and will have you coming back for more.
Bag burger is all you need! Best burger around!
Customer Service was horrible, I ASKED what they had on the menu AND they said come AND SEE!!!! Not only was the food bad but i found a Hair in IT WHEN I TOLD THE MANAGER he MADE ME leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
