I have shopped here for years.. not anymore..
I wanted porterhouse steaks.
None ready .so the old tall guy was going to cut me fresh."fantastic !"
THEN HE DROPPED THE KNIFE ON THE FLOOR.. PICKED IT UP WIPE IT ON A TOWEL AND STARTED TO CUT MY STEAK AGAIN..( WOW)
I had a young lady stop him .
Headed to register.
Just to have him
(THE GUY WHO JUST CONTAMINATED THE STEAK WITH FLOOR GERMS )come out and tell me it's ok he cleaned the KNIFE off I NEED TO TAKE the steak..
INSIST I NEED TO TAKE STEAK .. TO THE POINT I STARTED GETTING MAD..

Just moved to the area, and went thursday to Bachetti Bros. on Kirkwood Highway because I prefer butcher quality meats to suppermarkets. Well, the old butcher dude was not too friendly, but I was there to buy meat and not to make friends so whatever, I got their "top quality" Angus T-Bone at a regular price and the Sirloin on special. Unfortunately, the quality of meat was very disappointing. It was not fresh, and overall pretty much your typical chain supermarket quality except that it was more expensive. So, in sum, a poor customer service experience and a bad gastronomic experience. Not buying from them again. Luckily, I have a full grown Rottweiler, so it was not a waste after all :)

Stopped at Bachetti's today to pick up a sandwich. Got the Indianapolis - chicken salad with almonds on a croissant which I have gotten before. Bland chicken salad, croissant didn't taste "buttery" as before hardly could find any almonds. Not sure what has changed but won't order again.

I chose Bachetti Bros for my wedding because they had such great reviews. I was greatly disappointed with the service and the food.

The day of the wedding they didn't have my reception address, so they delivered my food to my billing address (home). They eventualy made it to my reception a hour and a half late. When they arrived they had a bad attitude and took no responsibility.

The food was cold, the chicken was dry and the beef was really chewy.

I don't recommend ordering from them. If you do, make sure you help them do their job. They really have a hard time doing it by themselves.

A bewildering array of sandwich options made to order. Many different meals to take home and heat up lots of frozen ingredients and soups. This is a major Delaware caterers kitchen and where they sell a lot of really good prepared food. You should consider Bachetti Bros. for your wedding. They are on the approved list of caterers for the mansions at Bellevue state park.
