bad experience with this restaurant 4/19/2016: we picked the 3 course menu . the salad of kale was not cold and did not taste quite fresh. the waiter did not ask what sauce I would like and gave me something with strong garlic. The steak was hard to bite. Lastly I ordered a cup of coffee and it was coffee left over in the pot for probably a few hours and tasted like herbal medication ! It was not until I complained about the coffee did the waiter agreed it was left over coffee and asked if I wanted fresh ones. terrible experience! I will never ever go there again!

Came to Los Angeles for a week and this place is in a very convenient place. The rooms are spacious and clean, ours had a great view over towards the hills (15th floor). Despite its central location, it is a cab ride at least to all attractions.

Great staff. Really appreciated the free ride within a three-mile radius. The wine hour from 5 - 6 pm was a nice touch. For our three-party group, the free wine probably made up for the $35-a-night parking fee. Didn't have any delays in getting our car. Love the pet-friendly policies.

Hotel Palomar meets all my expectations for an acceptable hotel stay. Comfortable room. Clean bathroom. Everything works. Responsive hotel staff. But this place really shines in how it exceeds these expectations. The decor with spotlights of color and quirky prints. Quality bathroom amenities with an extensive list of complimentary extras that can be obtained from Guest Services (nail clippers, professional hair dryer, razor). Yoga mat with free on-demand workout programs. Fruit water available at all times in the lobby.
Also, the hotel is uber pet-friendly! I currently have a hotel-provided goldfish to keep me company! (His name is Beef)
The location is quite convenient. There is an amazing variety of places to eat or drink within walking distance (10 minutes to Westwood Village or Persian Square). Who wants to drive in LA anyway?!response / report this review -

although the menu was a bit limited, everything was well prepared and tasty. the waitress informed us that all ingredients were organic and purchased fresh from local markets. even with the grand opening only a week prior, the service seemed to flow smoothly and the dishes prepared to our liking. nice ambience as well!
