The Auto Plaza Car Wash business does a wonderful job cleaning both of our cars. I used to go to "The Big Wind" car wash untill I noticed it was damaging my car. That sent me on a quest for another car wash in Lawrence Kansas. Using Google Maps I found the Auto Plaza Car Wash. I was skeptical as a new customer but soon my fears disappeared. They do a wonderful job for a fair price. I plan on taking both of our cars to the Auto Plaza Car Wash for their top of the line cleaning and detailing service. The employees are all very respectful to their customers. I strongly recommend this car wash through all the different seasons of the year. I will place an additional review here after they have detailed our cars. God bless you all.

I wish I was able to post a good review but my experience today(1/12/2018) was horrific. To begin, when I arrived at approximately 815am the place still appeared to be closed. Cones were up and I was able to drive in. The young man who came out advised me that I needed to back up from lane 1 and pull into lane 2. Being my first time here I was unaware of their procedures. I chose a wash and inside cleaning and had to ask him what to do next. Thinking I was supposed to drive through on my own, I asked him whats next and he asked me to leave my truck and go inside. After almost falling on my arse because the lot was a complete sheet of ice I went in to pay. My price was was supposed to be $15.99 but once again I was unaware of the upcharge, so I ended up paying almost $23.00 to the young lady inside who also was not very cordial. When my was was complete I went to my truck. The first thing I noticed was that my driver mirror was frozen and the other was closed. When I came in i had no ice on it at all or even water for that matter. Secondly they did not wipe down or rinse off my weathertech mats, still dirty and snow on them. There was coffee in my middle seat coaster that a client left there sitting upright. The workers here apparently lifted up my seat and left it that way and there was spilled coffee on my leather seats. Lastly they did not leave and air freshener and my tires were not shined. Being that I don't live in Lawrence, I'm not used to mediocre car wash places. I have a limousine company and my cars detailed daily and this was the worst experience I've ever had. Even if I was to complain to them in person; as soon as I was shown to my truck the worker was gone. He didn't even check to see if I was satisfied as their sign says in their lobby. There has to be a better car was service in Lawrence. Sad, sad, sad!!!!

This car wash is pretty expensive for the work they do. They do a cursory vacuum, and drive it through a wash, leave it wet in multiple places, and miss all sorts of spots on the driver door for example. I asked for the finger prints to be wiped off and was told they were wear (on a new car). I only come here because it's close. If have have other options, use them.

The wash is good. Front desk is your 1st line of customer service. Her response to my good morning greeting was silence. Not inviting or welcoming. Howeverthe owner is very personable and accomodating.

I have only been here once but am going back again tomorrow. I got the higher end wash (i.e., even carpets and seats were washed. My sparkled and looked brand new. I can't wait for it to look like that again!

I will never go again. You pay for certain level of cleaning and nothing they say on the list is performed unless you ask. The attitude of they employees is terrible does they owner take care of them?

I felt they didn't do a complete job as mentioned in their wash packages. It said they'll add three types of waxes and i never saw them doing it, even if i assumed that it is done by machines, when the car came out of it and i checked it , it felt like it was just a wash. Interiors reminded almost same, had to point out places not cleaned, after pointing out few i just gave up
If you need just a car wash then you can go there for Exterior wash and vaccum yourself somewhere else.
Once i reached back home i realized that the bird poop on the hood was still there, only partially cleaned

Like all other drive through car washes they always have lines on those warm days and it's about $16 to get a good wash. Don't always count on the good tricolor stuff or wax actually being applied, they don't keep it full.

I've had my car washed here for over 2 years and for the most part its a decent job. However, I do notice that not all of the dashboard will be wiped down, the rearview mirror is not done and the cup holders are not cleaned. I also realized that my back seat and above do not get vacuumed. I do have dog hairs that I try to get out the best I can and don't expect everything to come out. But there's also crumbs left.
I was in on Friday 7/29 around 1:15 and the 2 guys who did the vacuuming did an excellent job on my back seat and top area. All the hairs were gone. Also the girl who cleaned the inside of my car did a fantastic job. Everything was wiped clean, mirrors, dashboard, holders. I wish all of my experiences were like this last one.

It'll get your car clean - sort of. While it outperforms many of the automatic carwashes available in town, it doesn't do much better. Prices would be ok if they could do a better job. Facilities are run down and despite individual attention to each vehicle, one could do a better job on their own. The detailing services might be decent but I don't have any experience with that service.
