Once you give them a security deposit you will never get it back. They make false claims of ruining the paint and putting holes in the walls. Be sure you take pictures with the time and date stamp when you move in. Island Realty is a bunch of crooks.

Took weeks to fix a leaky faucet, they fixed it but messed up my knob so I couldn't get hot water. I was calling for weeks before they fixed the hot water. They ended up causing the leak to occur again when they finally fixed the broken hot water valve, thereby negating any maintenance they may have performed. The net result of calling them for maintenance was a worse outcome. I would've been better off never contacting them.

Auburn Realtywhere do I beginmaintenance emails/phone calls blatantly ignored the total of 2 times they were called pertaining to dishwasher and ice maker. The one time the maintenance guy did make an appearance was when no one was "home" (we never called Eagle Creek home due to the experiences with Auburn realty) our showers were so old that it was nearly impossible to turn the water completely off so we come back to an ugly note saying to be sure to twist knobs "ALL the way even though it's difficult". The note was from the maintenance guy so why didn't he just fix the awful shower ? The second but definitely not the last pitiful act from Auburn Realty was the time I got stormed in on by one of their agents! I start hearing my door being unlocked so I jump up and meet the intruder at the door the lady looks at me ( no hi how are you or anything) she immediately announces she that she's there to show my apartment to future tenants. Ofcourse I am at a loss for words having no notice of her showing MY apartment so she states an email was sent out 48 hrs prior. I assured her that I constantly check my email and nothing was sent out. She then says" well even if it wasn't would it really bother you if we came in and viewed it ?" How unprofessional! She even had the ladies with her arguing at me! I was in complete shock. She walks down the stairs and I immediately call Auburn realty only to find out that she was wrong, the computer generated emails didn't go out. Never received any apology for the ordeal. How did they repay us? Simply by waiting 3 months to give us our skimpy deposit back which ofcourse was incorrect. I do not recommend auburn realty to even the most desperate individual. Choose anywhere but AR

I don't actually lease from Auburn Realty. I don't even live in the USA. This however does not stop them from emailing me the personal correspondence to one of their tenants. I have sent numerous requests to update their contact details but nothing has been actioned. I feel sorry for anyone having to deal with this company. Clearly the security of their clients personal details is irrelevant to them. Totally inept.

Think before renting from Auburn Realty. My roommate and myself have only had bad experiences with them. We have a hole in our ceiling that we asked to be fixed over a year ago. We have broken blinds that we asked to be fixed over a year ago also. They are probably ignoring us until after we move out so that they can fine us and then not give us our deposit back. If that isn't bad enough, they treat all the renters like children with a 5 page rule book, like we don't know how to take care of things. After our first year, they tried to quietly raise our rent up $200 when rent was supposed to only go up $100. We found out and managed to bring it back down. Also, there is a quiet time weekdays from 10pm - 9am and 12am - 9 am on the weekend. This is a college town. Quiet times are very unrealistic expectations. Auburn Realty is overall a pain to work with and I long for the day I get to move out.

I have been trying for three months to find a house in Auburn for my new job. It was nothing but stress to get an email reply from anyone BUT Auburn Realty. Cary has been prompt, polite, and professional as well as an absolute blessing throughout the entire experience! I am very excited to get moved in!

Michelle S. Batchelor is horrible horrible!!! She has nothing but attitude for people. I have asked her several times to have someone else in her office contact me,due to the fact that she is so rude. She likes to be a name behind a computer with her attude as well. However, when a person comes to the offcie to address her,shes "gone" or doesnt respond to you at all. SHE IS THE REASON why I will keep telling everyone I know TO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUSINESS☆ If I could give this place a ---100000. review I would. They just tried to come into my house without any notice. The girl didn't even give me a chance to come to the door before trying to unlock it. Yes unlock and come into my house without my knowing and/or permission They would've got a real bad response from my dog!!!!! Like how dare they. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT RENT HERE. THEY RAISE RENT EVERY YEAR TOO!!!!! OWNERS KNOW AND DO NOT CARE TOO!!!! THANK God we are leaving Auburn soon.

They do not deserve a single star, but to post this I had to pick one. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE GUYS!! It would take me days to give all of the examples I have of how horrible our experience has been. We moved into a flea infested home, had things stollen by their workers, went more days without air-conditioning than with (it is 87 degrees in here as I write this review), we have had people barge into our home unannounced, and the people who work here have absolutely no desire to do their job. That is just a few of the things we have dealt with.

DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM!!! Never in my life have I dealt with more rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional people. They NEVER come and fix things that are broken. Our AC has been broken for months and we constantly have to file a complaint yet they won't fix it. They say they'll take cash, then won't take it when you try to pay. They claim they can't allow registered service animals and they try to make you pay for the service animal but that's illegal. Do yourself a favor and live in a box because that's better than living under these people.

This was a last resort place for us! Our a/c unit went out on a Friday night in 90 degree weather and they weren't there to fix it until Monday! It was not considered an emergency. They also charged us for stuff that wasn't our fault! They couldn't care less and I would never recommend them! We were never late with rent or anything! They will take you for everything they can! Duplex was very outdated with appliances from the 60s!!!
