If you are military stay far away from here. I'm prior service and these people come and go out of your apartment more than a barracks NCO. No 24hr notice, nothing. I also have had a sewage smell coming from my sink for the past week, so they sent a HVAC guy out to clean my air ducts and refuse to send a plumber. But Im sure when you pull in and see the over flowing dumpster pulled out into the street you'll see this place is garbage. Spend the extra $100 and go someplace else.

UPDATE: sink still not fixed after 6 days, the front gate has a dumpster blocking the exit overflowing with trash. This place has officially turned into a goddamn slum.

I have lived here for 2 years now. The rent is affordable and the location is convenient to shopping and main thoroughfares. The property needs improvement. Trash disposal sites are always overflowing and unsightly. Partly because of tenants improperly disposing of furniture and other items that do not belong in the compactor and they break it. The pool areas are always crowded with people who are not tenants, being rowdy, playing loud music detracting from a sense of community or family friendly environment. But if you wanna get crunk come to our pools on the weekend this is the place for you! Vehicles get broken into but if you drive a beater and dont have anything worth stealing you will A-okay! Absentee parents live here and let there children run wild, they vandalize, beat each other up, and make videos to post on world star using the playground as a backdrop. Shows start at midnight, don't forget the popcorn! Mosquitoes are plentiful here, so the next time you need to take a "sick day" off from work just stand outside and you might just able to contract the zika virus. Paid vacation here you come! ***not recommended for pregnant women, you'll just have to settle for maternity leave. Lost your dank connection? Live here and all you have to do is follow the scent. Any one of your neighbors will be blaze'n out on their balcony. You will also enjoy musically generous neighbors always happy to share what they are listening to all hours of the day or night from their apartment or their vehicle. For the ladies, free weave in the parking lot! Get your hair did and still be able to make rent! This property also boasts huge dead pines, guaranteed claims on your renter's insurance just in time to get that new Xbox or PlayStation. Hampton Place is a great place to live even though they can't compete with whisperhood. They boast real life arsens! Who all didn't enjoy their college pep rally with a bon fire? You know you miss dat chit!

They don't fix anything. I have been here three years, and have had the a leak, and the worse the leaks get the harder it is to get someone out here to fix them. Sine they have changed hands in management three of there maintenance guys have been out here to make a report but no one has been back to fix the problem

This place has really gone down hill fast with new management. Smells like clouds of weed all day and night long, drugs and garbage everywhere Can't open your windows for the smells or noise, damage to the gate all the time, landscaping looks like trash, very loud people, parties and music, run around from property people. We are now a truck stop with several semi's illigally parked, uhauls and storage containers everywhere. This place is not safe for small children, at all. The pools are consumed with parties and drugs. Speeding and near miss accidents to cars and people is a real problem. Car vandalism is a real problem. Yiu cant have anything nice on view
It's a free for all here and the residents know it. Everyone is on there own and there is no help or change for the good in sight..it's all down hill from here ..

Management will repeat themselves and never fix anything.meaning truck stop and drugs or noise.

It's definitly a rough community now.

If you are thinking of moving here i'd do your research

Words cannot describe how much this place has gone down hill. The new "management" is garbage!Trash compactor doesn't work nearly as often as it should and they laid off all the guys that took care of the groundsneedless to say,it looks and smells like hell!
At night, most of the place smells like marijuana. After complaining dozens of times I was told that there was nothing they could do despite have a clause on such things in the lease. There is a horrible problem with feral cats as well.So don't be surprised if your place gets fleas.Pest control used to come quite often, havnt seen them in a long time
Dont expect a noise ordnance to be enforced either.People revving engines and playing EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC is common at 6 am.Thanks to the "urban" community. The pool is a hazard for small kids. The plumbing on it is illegal. Set up in such a manner that draws water from a pipe stuck into the pool.So someone go ahead and sue (easy million).
Management has absolutely no clue what is going on around there. After asking several questions multiple days in a row;I was given the same answer "We don't know".(it was pertaining to money). Not a damn soul offered to follow up or even make an enquiry about it.
And to top all-This place set on milgen road.Milgen road is now the ghetto surrounded by section 8 and welfare thieves.Enjoy having your vehicle stolen, property vandalized, apartment broken into and having gas siphoned. All of which happened have happened to me here. The gate doesn't work half the damn time either so there's no hope of keeping the garbage out.
Over-all id enjoy giving this place 0 stars. It's a sugar coated turd and the people who work here are wolves in sheep skin

GREAT place to live.. Susan and Crystal in the leasing office are the best ladies I've ever worked with in my 26 years of renting any place. You won't be disappointed with them. The complex is great and always in need order. I feel safe there and have never had a problem. If I needed maintenance, they always responded within a day unless I needed an emergency situation, then they were there in hours.

I wish I could give this apartment complex 10 stars! The people at the staffing office and leasing office are great. I used to live at Hunters Run and when we were looking at moving in we got the star treatment but it quickly faded once the lease was signed. That is not the case here. The people at the leasing office for Hampton Place treat you like a friend and actually ask how you are doing. They also encourage you to stop by and say hello to them. I did however recently have an issue with a squirrel making a home in the ceiling of my bedroom. This squirrel was the loudest and most destructive little thing I have ever dealt with. I did not know what else to do so I called the 24/7 emergency maintenance line and dealt with some pretty rude people. They informed me that was not considered an emergency but will let our management office know of the situation. One person informed me that it would not chew a hole in the wall or ceiling and not to worry but the squirrel quickly proved them wrong. I know Hampton Place does not control the emergency line but I hope they can make a recommendation of having the emergency line customer service representatives show a little empathy regardless if the situation is considered an emergency or not. I am glad they got in touch with the Hampton Place property manager Rachel. She quickly took control of the situation and made me feel better about what was going on. They replaced the vent the squirrel destroyed and fixed the whole in my ceiling. She also had the maintenance complete preventative measures insuring it would not have a chance to return. They replaced the outside vents and also screwed in a wire insuring that the squirrel could not chew through again. I feel confident in having a property manager who checked on us daily for updates and had the best customer service skills. Maintenance workers are great and came and got the job done. I am 100% happy here and would strongly recommend this apartment complex to others!
