Over an hour in the EMERGENCY waiting room!!!!UPDATE: I brought my son into the emergency room here for an open gash in his head (an emergency) and I waited an hour in the waiting room and spoke to a two different receptionist twice about how much longer the wait would be. I was told two seperate times, by two different receptionist, and within 30 min of each time that they were waiting for the rooms to be cleaned. Ok, that last time I simply stated if I was not seen in 10 min I would take my child elsewhere. Less than 5 minutes later I was being taken back (how ironic). First thing I see when I'm walking through the double doors with the RECEPTIONIST Is at the Nurses station were atleast 5 to 6 employees chit chatting and having great conversation (not cleaning rooms or caring for patients). All I could think was wow, horrible emergency service!!! So we get situated in a room, and again after waiting 7-10 minutes we were greeted by a nurse who took vitals and asked a few questions. I was told my child will most likely need stitches and the Doctor would be in shortly. After seeing the size and severity of the wound, one would think maybe this should be addressed more promptly as we are in an Emergency Department. No, not the case at Aspirus. I am not exaggerating when I say I spent another hour in this room after the nurse left waiting for a Doctor, before I completely just walked out in frustration!! I have never been treated this way by a hospital! Completely outrageous! Contacting billing department tomorrow to make sure I was not charged for never receiving any sort of care or service. Emergency center should be able to provide PROMPT care! No signs of being understaffed, and there is NO EXCUSE for that type of treatment and service!
This place is a joke they don't give you the care you need they look at you like you have nothing wrong with you and don't do the proper testing to see what's really wrong with you the Prentice clinic is awfully rude to you and just look at you and say your fine when you know your body and something is really wrong she told me I was just having muscle spasms in my lower back and became very snobby about it tired of being in pain with my back for the past 4 years and no testing is done I'm supposed to just take flexoral when that don't even work think they should find better people to work for them and get results before diagnosing the patient I'm not happy
Excellent Rural Hospital
Great people. When the provider who was supposed to follow-up with my grandson refused to do so, the staff at Aspirus filed a complaint on behalf of our family. Excellent care.
Not patient centered care at all. It's always about what works best for the staff.
