Not our cup of tea! Very tight and cramped. We have a large class A. The space that stated large enough for our rig was very small. The back of our rig hung over hillside right next to the road. The front of our rig was right on the street. The guy in a small camper next to us had to put his awning in just so we could get out of our space the next morning. There were so many cars parked on the street in front of other sites that it made it difficult to get out. It wasn't their fault because that was actually the only place for them to park. Sites just aren't large enough for a rig and one or two cars. It's basically only big enough for a rig. Also the difficulty in getting out was not because my husband can't drive (he has been driving 18 wheelers for over 40 years) it's just that it was too cramped. My only reason for giving one star is just from the size of the sites. We talked to others in the park and they absolutely love the place. We also talked to some who said they enjoyed the stay except for the size of the sites.

It's hard to believe this place is full in the middle of November, but definitely shows the lack of options in the area. There are nicer areas of the park, but we were pinned in a tiny site, barely able to extend the slide, and 10' away from the main road. The shower facilities were outdated with the showers being hard to manage. How hard is it to put a full sized shower curtain up to prevent water from getting all over the floor and my stuff? On top of it, in my opinion the place is priced higher than average. If we do come through here next time, I'll make sure it's not here.

Lady at desk was very rude. Our site had a rather large bump to back over for entry to our site that would have damaged drain pipe, they acted like it was no big deal!! Signs posted to stay off grass yet that was only way we could park on site without damage. Gouges in pavement showed where others had had same problem although she stated they had no problems with others parking. Won't stay here again.

Nope nope nope. This place is a glorified parking lot with hookups. The "Campsites" (if you can even call them that) are smashed together like sardines. This place in right next to the freeway, and a highway with much road noise from both, including Jake brakes from big rigs. What is the point of staying at a place like this??? No fire pits either.

Easy access to the interstate. Close to Biltmore House and outlet mall. Family and pet friendly. Features on site laundry, restrooms and showers. On site recycling and garbage bins. Great place to stay while visiting Asheville.

Campsites are big enough and shaded. We stayed at spots 19 and 21 over the Labor Day weekend. I would suggest to pick campsites 1-35 because they are away from the main road and feel roomy enough. Bathrooms were very clean. We did stay on the row with highway I-40 below this mountain location but I did not feel the noise was overbearing. The even numbered middle row (#2-38) is very nice because it has a great view of the mountains. There are some Rv spots right off bear creek Rd including some pull through sites. I would avoid these spots because the main road is so very close. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting near by Biltmore estates.

Campground is very close to downtown Asheville. Our pull through site was very awkward to get into, not enough room for the big rigs. Site is right on busy road and when pulling into site we had to extend our truck onto the main road which is on a bend and then back in multiple times, not for the weak of heart. Sites are close. We basically used this as a hotel overnight stay as our primary goal was seeing Asheville not to setup and camp. Did not setup outside being so close to the road, very loud. Full hookup was a plus. Take uber to Asheville, parking is difficult to find.

Great place, clean and close to downtown Asheville! The bathrooms are well kept and clean and the grounds are also pretty spotless. There are, however, no grills or fire pits.

The provision of water electric, sewer and cable TV was perfect and the setting was lovely except for the position of our spot. We were close to a very busy road and the sound of traffic made it less than idyllic. There were claims that the site was pet friendly but signs everywhere said it was a $50 fine for not clearing up after the dog poops. Fair enough but there were no poop bags at any of the stations. That is not pet friendly in my book. The toilets and showers and amenities were good. There was mulch all over our pitch which made it difficult to keep clear. Would I return only if there was no alternative. At the price it could be a lot better than this.

The camp ground is more like a parking lot. You have a a small strip of grass between each site your right on top of each other. This is a fine place to stop if your not wanting to actually be camping. There pictures are very deceiving as well you mostly stare at other campers. Your also surrounded by the highway so you hear highway noise. To me this is not a camp ground and me and my husband where very disappointed with out stay.
