I had to surrender my dog Sunny today due to increasing dog aggression with the other dog at home. The staff I interacted with were perfect! Caring and honesty was observed both towards me and my dog situation. I didn’t catch the names of the man at the desk or the behavior person but both answered any questions I had honestly and I do believe my furry baby will be adopted. Thank you again to the staff. I’m sure your job not easy, especially having to be in on the emotions that must come along with it. God Bless u all!
We adopted a memeber of our family at Sunnyslope. What a great experience. We love our Bandito so much
To start of i wanna start by saying , i called 5 different clinics. In my personal opinion this clinics staff was very knowledgeable. Nick gave me direct answers ,prices were outstanding which resulted in me donating to the shelter itself. I couldn't be more appreciative.
Alittle about my fur-baby. This little guy had one testicle and so that resulted In your not so typical surgery. He came out looking like nothing happened . Which makes me feel proud to say I trust my animals and any future animals I may acquire to be handled with care by this clinic.
To Dr.jason- Beautifully done 👏👌👍
There emergency response is a joke. Was told an hour and they showed up in 4. Also wouldn't take the stray that was hit by a car. Was just going to let the poor thing go to suffer! The cat clearly had a broken tail and something wrong with Its back end. The response guy isn't even a trained vet. Spent 5 minutes in his truck and brought the cat back. Will never go here or call again! I can't believe any one actually donates to this place! Waste of time and money!
I have adopted two pets from this location. It was a great experience . I am so thankful I found them and was able to adopt my two furbabies. This shelter is awesome and shelter dogs are the best dogs (: THANK YOU!
Called to have them pick up a starving sick cat that randomly showed up in front of my house. On the phone the lady was rude. When a man came to my house pick her up he was refusing to take her even though she needed medical attention. We finally convinced him to take her. He made us put her in the cage. Let us know he would be bringing her back to our house. I called their customer service to complain about the way their employee treated us and the cat and they yelled at us. What a terrible place full of people that don't care about animals.
I adopted a great dog here; most of the volynteers and staff were very helpful, so 5 stars for that. There were some significant understanding and communication issues regarding the dog's health; improvement is needed here. Medical facts shared were incorrect. Non-medical staff should not guess or interpret medical reports on their own; please work with the medical staff.
I find it really upsetting that the humane society charges an outrageous "adoption fee"! I don't see how you can charge $400 adoption fee for a 3 year old chihuahua! People have to pay hundreds of dollars to be able to provide a loving home to a dog who was tossed to the side by their disgusting owners and who I clearly in NEED of a loving home. It's unfortunate for the families who would love to give a loving home to a dog but can't because they can't afford your ridiculous "adoption fees"!
I have a complaint. Big one too!!!! So my sister took her male and female boxer into the vet to get neutered and spayed but my sister wasn't sure if her female boxer was pregnant. So when she took her female dog into the vet to get checked before getting spayed, she asked the lady to check and see if her female was pregnant before going forward. Due to in incident happening when we first got the female boxer. The lady stated that she will give my sister a call to tell her if the dog was pregnant. My sister wanted to keep the pups, if in fact she was pregnant. The woman at the front never called her. My sister never gave consent to have the puppies aborted if she was indeed pregnant. My sister asked the woman at the front, when she got a call to go get the dogs , "was my female dog pregnant?" they lady stated that "when feeling around to see if there where any puppies inside her female dog, they couldn't feel them so they proceeded to do the surgery to spay the female dog. In that time they found out that the dog was pregnant and aborted the pups anyway and spayed her. Remind you, my sister never gave consent for this to happen. So we hope that the next time the humane society decides to do something like this they will think twice.
The Sunnyslope Humane Society is great. The volunteers are wonderful there. Our dog we adopted, whippet/boxer mix came in traumatized from hoarding/puppymill situation and they worked with her as she didn't even want to be touched or walked on a leash. She loves to be hugged, kissed and I walk her daily just fine. Thank you for all of your hard work with these dogs that come in to you. I would recommend adopting here.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, I find my little Zoey here. She is so very sweet I adopted her two days ago. We are doing great together. She is such a sweet little 6yr old little girl. So thankful we find each other. Thank you each an everyone of you that me.
The people who work here are amazing. They are helpful and caring. Without the humane society I don't know what my family would have done. They saved our 7 year old family dog after he was hit by a car and at a good price. There are no words to express the way my family feels. We are happy and excited and can't wait to see our baby again. This place truly does all they can to help families and animals. When you feel like all hope is lost just call them. The people who work here have such big hearts and again my family can't express how much everything that has been done for our dog means to us.
