I came in on ladies night to shoot my new gun. I am a new gun owner and was wanting to come in and feel comfortable to learn. I felt the complete opposite from that. While I was in the range I stepped behind the red line and the ranger came in and grabbed me by my arm and yelled at me in my face to NOT STEP BEHIND THE RED LINE. I apologized to the ranger and explained that I didn't know. I felt really stupid and embarrassed. I packed up my stuff and when I turned in my stuff the ranger was standing at the counter and again I apologized, he looked at me and said "ya" and looked very angry. I left feeling very disappointed and didn't enjoy the experience at all. I will not be returning. I was going to take classes and private sessions for me and my kids but now on the hunt for somewhere to learn.

Great place to shoot, and awesome customer service. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. They have everything you need, just in case you forget something.

As a visitor to the US I went to these guys for pistol training. The front line staff and training officer were very helpful and supportive for me being first time shooter. Generally a good place to learn, the only issue is that the range look and feel could be improved. It looks a bit old and worn out.

Truly a fantastic establishment! I went in to see what I may be Interested in, In the near future. Craig stayed with ne for over an hour going though a multitude of firearms, walking me through all of them, answering all of my questions, joked with me, and made me very welcome. As well as the young lady of who was behind the rental counter was exceedingly kind, helpful, happy to joke, share stories, and provide an over all excellent experience. They will maintain my business for a long time to come.

My mom and I are beginners and we went there for a private lesson with Craig. He was super nice and didn't make us feel stupid for not knowing anything. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. We spent two hours with him, practicing our shot and asking a million questions on compact pistols. Very pleased with their customer service. Will definitely be returning.

Went there and had a fantastic time. Very knowledgeable instructors and also the staff is laid back and willing to answer any question you have. Incredibly clean and very professional while also having a genuinely warm and inviting atmosphere. Fantastic gun store/range and I will be returning soon.

There were 7 of us crazy Canucks coming down to do some shooting, 3 of us had never touched a gun before. The range officer was great at explaining things to us and the whole experience was pretty great. The only note was that we had to wait for an hour to get 2 lanes but again we were a group of 7 walking in so it's to be expected.

Three and a half stars would be more appropriate. Staff is always friendly and I like going there. In a time when customer service seems to be lacking these guys are always awesome.
Its a nice little range but the lanes are really tight and if its ladies day it gets oppressively crowded in there fast. My biggest complaint though is it is DARK! Getting older and dont see as well and I just wish they would invest in a few more light bulbs or ones with more intensity.
Caswells is closer and faster for me to get to but I tend to make the drive out to Teds because it doesn't feel like a cave. Still .. If I just want to send a few rounds down range Caswells is a fine choice mostly because of their people.response / report this review -

Nice and chilly inside, nice staff, great prices on the range! I go every sunday that i can. And will continue to do so. I recommend anyone who is in the area to try the range out. I would like to try out some of the courses they offer. They also have a really nice selection on firearms and non lethal and other products inside the shop.

I first purchased a gun at Caswells over a year ago. My wife and I took the CCW class from them with JR as our instructor. I have taken several other classes since then.
They have been very understanding and helpful with my wife as she has been looking for "the gun" she feels comfortable with. That situation resulting from the stroke she had previously that has left her with diminished hand and arm strength. The manager (Paul) went so far as to allow her to shoot one of his personal guns as she kept looking for "the one."
We have found the staff to be courteous, helpful and professional while maintaining the necessary focus on safety. (It is a range after all.)
We have recommended Caswells to others and will continue to do so.response / report this review -

This place is wonderful! I have made purchases here without feeling obligated or pressured. The range part is really nice, as well. However, the best part is the management. They are very generous and wonderful to our military!
