Thanks Bob and Ernesto, they were able to tell me the part I needed from the issues I described. They had the part I needed in stock and when I installed it, the refrigerator worked perfectly. This is a great place for parts and do it yourself help and information. Thanks, APC
I had some HVAC problems this year. I'm not an expert, but I'm willing to try to fix things myself. I'm confident and successful because I get great help from the crew at Appliance Parts Center. They help me troubleshoot and walk me through likely fixes. They listen and help. And of course, Doctor Don is the best. They have been helping me for years and have saved me a lot of money. Thank you Appliance Parts Center on Eastern.
I went in to Appliance Parts Center for a capacitor for my unit. They very professional and old-school with service in a good way. The capacitor wasn’t the issue, so I was referred to Don. After talking to Don he sent out technician Frankie who was extremely professional and polite.
Don called me with the price and we agreed to do it, said he would call me next day to schedule. Called me next morning with good news telling me that the unit was still under warranty which I had no idea! He gave me a number to pursue the warranty.
I was totally floored with his honesty, they could have just put their compressor on and charged me their labor. I've told more people the story and everyone was shocked. The unit was 100% replaced. Unfortunately they use their own companies to do the work and Don missed out. But that story will go on and on.

Imagine waking up to your house being above 90 degrees and realizing your AC unit is on the way out the day before the hottest day in Vegas this year at 119. I was in a hurry to find a solution but didn't want to give my savings away to come up with one. That's when I found this place! They were able to test my capacitors and tell me they were good to go and even helped me figure out the wiring on the new fan motor. I was able to get the AC unit working and enjoy my cool house in a matter of hours thanks to their knowledge and professionalism. Thanks again!
Our wall oven cooling fan was becoming noisier by the day. We called APC and spoke to Dr. Don. Rather than just send out a technician, he took the extra step to check the oven specifications to ensure that the fan was something that he could get parts for. Only after he knew that a fix was possible did he send over a technician. Our technician, Mario, arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and made sure that a replacement part was available to order. He was very helpful and spent extra time explaining exactly what was wrong. He also spent time adjusting the fan so that it wouldn’t be so noisy while we were waiting for the part to come in. Once the part was in, he returned, installed the fan and – voila – no more noise. We were so pleased to find such good service. We felt the price was fair and everyone – Dr. Don, Mario, Yvonne – was personable, courteous and professional. We would call them again and highly recommend them.
More expensive than online, but better service and had confidence I bought the correct part. Also obtained what the big box stores don't carry. A parts person looked at the old part from my gas fireplace I brought in and found a correct replacement in less than a minute. Saved me the worry of buying online and risking needing to return it. Return policy is not as good as most places- no returns on electrical components. When I need an unusual appliance part, I will return here. One star short of perfect because of the return policy.
After realizing my dryer wasn't working around 5pm this evening, I frantically Googled local appliance parts replacement and quickly found Appliance Parts Center. I called, in hopes they could help me troubleshoot my issue before heading down there. They suggested I bring the starter button in to get tested, so I did. I was welcomed by Albert and he was able to test the button, which turned out to be just fine. He suggested that it may be the timer knob, so I purchased that, knowing I could return it if, in fact, that wasn't the issue. I also asked him about a grinding noise the machine has been making and he was able to get me the bearing replacement kit right away. He even gave me a 10% discount for being a new customer. :) I came home and within 30 minutes, I replaced both the knob (Albert was totally right - the timer knob was cracked!) and bearing. Now, I have a working dryer and APC has a new, very happy customer!! Thank you so much for saving my evening!
This place is simply great. I have been buying from them for almost 30 years and have always found them to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Today I went there for a new thermostat for my A/C furnace unit. I was helped by Paul how quickly found the exact part I needed answered all my questions and saved me lots of money. Thanks Paul
I have been here 3 different times and each time I have had no issues getting the part I needed unlike many other appliance parts stores in Vegas. The customer service was great with friendly staff. Seemed to always be semi busy each time I was in there. Also this place offers a military discount.
I have written very few reviews, but I feel this is one business that deserves to be recognized for their knowledgeable and friendly service. Don and the guys that work at Appliance Parts Center at 501 North Eastern are just the best. They take the time to understand what your dealing with and have always helped guide and direct me in what I am trying to do. Whether its fixing my dryer, microwave or replacing one of my AC units on my house, they have always been able to help me and because of that I have saved a great deal of money. I am very grateful for that. I have no desire to go anywhere else, thank you Don.
I want to share my experience because I am tired of A/C companies OVER CHARGING people. My 10 year condenser fan motor went out. A/C companies wanted to charge me over $500. I called one A/C company and they wanted $260 just to install a capacitor!!
I contacted Appliance Part center store and purchased a condenser fan motor and a capacitor for about $135.00 My single capacitor was only $14.99 plus tax. The sales person "Paul" was very helpful. He explained everything to me including the wiring for the motor. It only has 4 wires and 2 go to capacitor with slip on connectors. He also informed me should I have any problems to call the store and they will walk you thru it. The job took me about an hour and was pretty simple. The A/C works great now. I will buy from you guys before calling an A/C company. Thank you Appliance Part store for saving me money and Thank You Paul for great customer service!!!
The condenser fan motor on our 14-year old AC unit started failing. The AC service company that we used last could not respond for almost a week and estimated the cost to replace the motor at $450. I am fairly handy with home repairs, so thought I would tackle replacing the motor. I called Appliance Parts Center and spoke with one of their reps who confirmed that they carried the motor and could provide advice. I removed the failing motor and took it to the Appliance Center. They matched it to an appropriate replacement and instructed me on how to connect the new motor to the capacitor. The replacement worked flawlessly and cost about 25% of the service company's estimate. I strongly recommend Appliance Parts Center and their excellent, helpful staff.
LOVE this place! I was without AC for two days after getting a quote somewhere else I decided to stop here and Dr Don helped me. He explained everything to me which was very helpful because I don't know much about AC. He gave me a couple options and for a great price. I came in last minute to schedule with them to replace my AC unit and were able to squeeze me in that same day! (Which they might not be able to do every time but they try their best.) I have been here before for parts for my AC and they were super helpful then too. I'm so glad there is a store where they support DIYers like myself and husband and willing to answer any question. It is nice to have a store where the people are honest, friendly, and treat you like a real person. (To the guy that came out to install my unit THANK YOU SO MUCH and for going above and beyond making the unit work since my breaker is so old and didn't work.) I will definitely be back again for any other parts I need for my appliances. Thank you!
Very happy with this place. I have fixed numerous appliances around my house with the help of APC and Google. Up to three repairs on my old AC unit and everytime they have the part I need, and fast friendly service!
Eddy and Ramon are like psychic or something! I walked in they said "do you need a new one of those!" This is the best place. Customer service A+
Dr. Don is awesome! Prompt response to email request. Part was in stock. Thank you Appliance Parts Center and Dr. Don.
I had one of my heaters go out earlier in the week. Called a top rated repair service here in Vegas, with excellent reviews.
Service tech diagnosed my circuit board to be bad. I was told that it was probably due to the fan blower motor drawing too many amps. Replacement cost was qouted at $650 for the board and $800 for the motor. Tech advised that since the system is so old (15 years) that I should just replace the entire unit. Depending on which route/system, it would cost between $6500-11000. I paid the service call and called Aplliance Parts Center.
I have used these guys for many years, but never for a heating issue. I spoke with Paul. He had a new circuit board in stock, cost $319. He also offerd some much appreciated advice and guidance. So far so good. The heat is back on. If the motor does go out, I'll replace that as well, using Appliance Parts Center.
Thanks Paul!!
Dr Don took great care of us! Other appliance places were trying to charge me over 100 dollars to replace my full washer agitator, but Dr Don fixed it for 16 dollars! Great place, great people!
