  Getting better all the time, still needs some improvement, but generally wide open a good place to hone you skills. Trouble with beginning players not knowing the rules and jumping in anywhere on the course , not marshalled.green have become much better, most of the fairways and ruff broadleaf grass.

  Apple Valley is an inexpensive course, very long and fairly open, but it is rather low-end in terms of the quality of the grass in the fairways. It's basically like golfing in your yard. The greens are pretty good most of the time, probably play a little slow. I do most of my golfing there because of the convenience of the location and the low price, and in my opinion its a good place to take someone who is just learning.
