Ugh! Super long lines! Just needed to pick up a few accessories. Lots of people hanging around. Interactions with staff was very transactional. They used to be very helpful and give personal insight. When asking questions, it was very matter of fact. Hard to make a decision, especially when I am relaying on their advice to make a decision. Prices went up.
Worst experience. Came in here once because my IPhone wasn't connecting to service (said "no sim"). Came in to get it fixed, and they reset my IPhone, and after doing stuff with it (who knows what) my perfectly good IPhone just wasn't working anymore -- black screen, wasn't showing anything. They told me after THEY BROKE IT that they couldn't do anything about it, and that I would have to buy a new one -- they wouldn't refund me or discount either because it was broken. Truly terribly experience.
This stores has a really nice layout. Rich is great he helped me solve my issue. The service here is also very quick. I definitely recommend this store.
I often forget this Apple Store is here, I’ve visited this location on several occasions. I needed to purchase a new charger for work. I was able to go on the Apple Store App on my phone and make the purchase that morning and scheduled pick up for later on in the afternoon. Upon arriving to the store there is hand sanitizer at the doors. There is also a box of masks for anyone entering without a mask. Upon my entry a gentleman behind me did not have a mask on and security asked him to put one on. I was greeted by staff and once I informed them, I was there to pick up my items they directed me to a location so I could wait for the next available staff to assist me. I waited almost 10-15 minutes for someone to come over, the representative ushered me over to a table where he scanned my QR code and then I waited maybe 5 minutes for another representative to bring the items out to. The staff members were very polite. I would visit this store again. It’s accessible via public transportation. I’m not certain if they are taking walk in customers at this time.
Great, quick service.
This store is way less crowded and the customer service is on point here I would recommend this store for all apple users.
The whole range of Apple products is available here. And the whole staff is really nice and always at your service. Been in another Apple stores too crowded (5th avenue for example) that makes experience uncomfortable. In here is always a pleasure to come
Worst customer service ever. I never write bad reviews but I will be telling EVERYONE how horrible my mother was treated at this store. I went into the store with her today to get her phone fixed. My brother has requested via email a new battery. Everything was standard and we were told she will be able to get her phone back in 2 hours, not any sooner. Which was absolutely understandable, however I told them I will not be able to come back with her and she was going to come back alone. I also voiced my concern that my brother was the one requesting the battery change even though we noted my mother's name and it was my mother's phone. They told us that's absolutely ok and she only needed her ID but offered to give us a receipt to bring back when she returned. I agreed
We took the receipt and left them with her phone. She returned in 2 hours, presented the receipt and a woman brought the phone out. When they checked her ID they said the names were different (since it was my brother who requested the fix) and took the phone back and told her my brother had to call the store. She waited 45 minutes as he tried to call the store and never got through. She tried to find the woman that helped her but she never came back out. She had to find another person to help her and had to DEMAND her phone back. This was everything we were trying to PREVENT. She wasted a good hour of her time there and we had to pay for the battery?! Trust me I'm telling everyone. You're going to lose customers. I guarantee it.
best store everokay maybe that's an exaggeration.
what's not a fib is that this Apple Store is my go-to for all things in the atmIOSphere
the first floor covers everything from your iphone needs to apple watch wants to the glossy sleek mac airs, macbooks, imacs, and so onthe second floor is where the genius bar is, workshops and presentations at the open theater/auditoriumthere are also a variety of Apple and third-party accessories and software sold here. the Beats are up here unless they moved them back downstairs again.
PRO TIP: Download and set up the Apple Store app for payment. it will make your life and keeping track purchases supereasy. also for products that are on the shelf, you can ay via app and just leave--no human interaction needed.
each floor is designed in a modern warm aesthetic. high ceilings. open and airy. not a lot of clutter, very clean-to-the-eye. clean sleek wood tables with products to be held, touched, sampled, etc. in order to close a sale as opposed to aisles stuffed with products, signs, and clutter. most items that you will buy will require staff assistance because stock of iphones, imacs, etc. are held there. a few items can be grabbed off the shelves or displays and taken to checkout, to a staffer to swipe and pay, or be paid for with the Apple Store App.
each floor is filled with Apple staffers to help you make a purchase or answer q's. in general, most Apple staffers are helpful and can field your basic questions. if they are unsure, I do like they check in with more knowledgeable staffers. i like the attention to details and the generally very friendly service. before i picked up my Apple Watch 3 w/ celli got all my q's answered and felt superinformed on aspects of the products not answered in the Apple forums. and as a runner, i could not be happier as a runner with the Apple Watch Nike+ w/cell and be able to marathon with music, phone and text connectivity, & more.
the genius bar is so easy to use. make an appointment on appledotcom then show up. the staff here take care of the rest via repair or replacement.
purchases seem so easy bc you don't have to wait on endless lines--either swipe your card with an Apple Staffer, tap with your iphone or app watch to make a purchase or use the Apple Store app to pay. honestly Apple makes purchasing so easy--i can get in and out of here in less than five minutes.
drops mic cuz my Beats aren't mic'ed up
i out
I came here expecting to leave stressed out and annoyed. Instead, I left so happy and grateful. The young man who helped me Lugi(spelling?) was so sweet and instantly made me feel relaxed and welcomed. Normally, I hate dealing with any coorpate business and avoid it at any cost. Lugi helped me calm down and explained everything that was happening with my Apple device. Thank you, for what would normally be an excruciating experience, was actually a highlight of my day 😌thanks apple ❤️
It was a great experience great working environment, place was clean, and finally the workers there were very nice and got my Niece the new headpiece she needed for her apple phone.
I was assisted by a “bloke” who did anything but assist me. All the time shouting at every corner of the shop to his passing “bros”. Even when I noted that he should be attending me he had the cheek to tell me that I was also talking to my friend (whom I was asking questions the theorical attendant was not there to answer). An absolute shame, really sorry I had no more time to bring the point up with the store manager seriously. Helping someone, who clearly does not deserve it, to earn a commission for a $1,300+ sale.
Patient, helpful, thoughtful staff. Special thanks to Bonna who absolutely went above and beyond helping a couple of non-tech-savvy old people!
It was a Beautiful experience to see a
Legend today Beres Hammond put it like this I'm still smiling :)
Had a very disappointing experience with Apple store in Soho, New York. I went in for a check on my MacBook that was not booting possibly due to a battery issue. I waited an hour to see a Mac technician who was helpful and explained the battery problem and possible data erosion. I was asked to come back in 2 hours after the new battery was replaced. I received an email from the store (they also had my number) asking to call the customer support line due to a repair complication. I was on hold for an hour and could not get through the support line in spite of trying consistently for a couple of hours - problem 1. After I turned up at the store, the Genius bar support staff could not find my repair ID - problem 2. After they did (which took more time), they stated that a new battery has been put in but the main problem has not been solved, i.e. the laptop was still not booting. They suggested going to a data recovery center if I wanted a data back up after which they would erase and reinstall everything and possible solve the issue. But before going through the process and actually solve the problem, they charged me $140 for the battery replacement in spite of me being no more closer to getting the computer fixed - problem 3. Overall very poor and expensive (both time and money) customer service and definitely not expected from Apple. Have no inclination to buy any kind of Apple product after this.
I did the iOS 11 update. My phone has been on the fritz since. I took it in and they ran test and then changed the battery. That part is now better but the phone continues to act up. It slows down and freezes every so often. They said everything is working on it, so it has to be the new update that was created for the new powerful Xphone. Well that’s all and great but what about the rest of us who do not have one? So what, now I need to get a new phone. Leave it to apple to create an update that makes older models obsolete.
Oh hi Apple soho, setting up a time then texting me telling me you're ready to see me then telling me to sit at a table then telling me to go sit at a different table isn't actually helping me. Actually as far as I can tell you're actually the opposite of being ready to see me, that is, NOT ready. I just kinda don't really understand your system. I feel like there shouldn't be enough time between being told it's my turn and actually being helped to write a review this long, after sitting boredly for ten minutes.
It was a wonderful experience. This was my second time to at this store. I am able to walk around to check out the products and wasn't chase around by the sales associate when I needed something I was able to find one available. I purchased a number of items and left the store very happy. Even found a parking my mini cooper without a problem in front of the store.
Great service! Employees are attentive & friendly.
Super AMAZING job Khyrie for helping me out!! Should out to the rep @ Apple Care who set up an appointment & the guy with the beard and gold teeth at the check in!!! Super efficient, straight to the point, not trying to sell me things I don't need!! Super yay
Had a wonderfully blessed time at the soho Apple 🍎 store, my sales associate he was the best very knowledgeable of the products. After my discussion with Mr. T as I will call him, can't remember his name I purchased a iMac pro 💻 the newest model, a little pricey but you purchase what you like. Awesome 👏 excellent experience. Thanks 🍎.
Fabulous store - Ryan and all his colleagues on the floor definitely went the extra mile in my time there and I am extremely appreciative, so a huge thank you to the team for their helpfulness.
By contrast I’ve had less than stellar experiences at the Meatpacking location.
SoHo or bust!
Went for a school trip the kids have a lot of fun the workers were really nice and the kids had a lot of fun !!! They teach them nice things you could do with your iPad,they answer the children questions at the end of the trip they give them free shirts and a very nice bracelet !!!
I came to the store in complete meltdown mode - not happy about the crowds and the noise but the customer service agent that helped me, Lauren, was a complete angel - she was very calm, clear and was able to help me with my issues I am grateful for her level of professionalism
Went in to get an iPhone. I was greeted politely by three people as I browsed. And when I asked I had the iPhone in minutes. They even helped transferring my old iPhone sim to the new one and put the new one in a case. They were knowledgeable about my upgrade options.
I just wish it was closer to my house.
