Rented two Santa Cruz Hightower bikes for 4 days from these guys. Bikes were well maintained and ready to go when we arrived. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local trails. The shop had some cool apparel and carried some high end Santa Cruz, Ibis, and Specialized rigs. The real deal here!

Really great place!

I was demoing a bike and was having a good time. Unfortunately the chain broke and my day was cut short.

These guys were very nice and refunded my money. Excellent customer service! Apparently it's pretty uncommon for this to happen, and they handled it very well.

Overall, I would definitely come here again. Great bikes and great customer service.

Groovy, funky, well-stocked with exactly the right gear, but they lose a couple of stars for being a bit oblivious about their customers. I wandered around enjoying the busy-but-we're-cool-about-it vibe and the decor, chose an item to purchase, and went to the counter to wait my turn. I waited and waited and waited while the young men at the counter helped every young man who came nearby. Laid-back though they all were, they were all too busy and attentive to the male customers to notice me or to allow me to catch their gaze. I finally went looking for a staff person in the aisles and had to ask twice to get help. I made my purchase and told them how long I had had to wait. The fellow looked suitably embarrassed but couldn't come up with anything appropriate to say. I won't be going back there. Ever.

ABS has a great selection, and they know their stuff!!
I bought my mountain bike from them a couple months ago. They've been helpful with tune ups, and got my rear shock serviced and returned in just a few days when it had a warranty issue!

This is hands-down the best bike shop ever. Each person here is attentive and provides the best customer-service and tune-ups/overhauls you could ask for. The owners know everything about bikes and don't just sell you a bike without understanding your needs. The prices are unbeatable. No reason to look anywhere else.

Staff super-helpful and fun to talk to. Good selection for such a small shop.

My only complaint is that I'd reserved a mountain bike rental and the previous renter hadn't returned it yet. Would have been nice to know that before I got there. They had other bikes, though, so it wasn't a big deal in the end. But if you want a specific rental, you should probably call ahead to confirm.
