Horrible experience ! Don't appreciate the condescending attitude from " Katelyn" at the 4840 store Tanger outlet North Charleston SC. 29418.
I planned on purchasing 2 tops short sleeved sweater, a dish for jewelry and a manicure set. The signs along the wall read 50% off lowest ticketed item. But when they rang up they weren't 50% off lowest ticketed item. I said well this top is $14.99 I was going to bring the Medium because the large doesn't have the sales ticket so the one POS person Katelyn walks over and pushes the shirts around and says No none of them are marked, not even the medium. I said ok I know it's marked because I double check I have worked retail as a customer service supervisor for 10 years and over see an entire department, associates and customers. I am just letting you know what I saw. It is fine I still plan on buying everything here. Katelyn decides she has to continuously have the last word. She says okay well I am just telling you those shirts never had tickets on them. I looked at her , I said not exactly sure what your problem is I said I am still buying all of this merchandise an $86 dollar order, those signs that stretch down the entire wall are misleading to customers stating they will be 50% off the lowest ticketed item and you do have a medium in this shirt with a ticket on that wall . I am not arguing with you , I am speaking calmly and actually I was talking to my cashier you keep choosing to jump in on our conversation with a smirk on your face running to the wall yelling back information that not everyone needs to know I'm not even making a big deal about it . She says well I'm just letting you know that is the price . I said ok you know what now I'm done take everything back we can thank you for that so delete my purchase I only came in here for this and that's all I am buying . Then write her name and store # on the receipt. "We don't give last names " I said that's okay stores know who worked what days and what times I just need a first name and a store # I'm not going to be talked to like this, especially when I was being nice , non confrontational because I know what it's like to work retail and I was buying everything and now I'm not and it's because she thinks it's funny and she has a smirk on her face and is condescending every time she speaks to me . I plan on calling corporate . Monday morning Katelyn whose laughing now ?
You are lucky I didn't walk over to the wall because I would have picked up the size medium that said $14.99 even my 11 year old daughter saw the tag. I was still willing to pay $14.99 I didn't care that much but you kept running your mouth ! Silence is Golden so zip it!response / report this review -

Just had a terrible experience with loft customer service. I have been a loyal customer for years. Very disappointed. Don't think I will be shopping there any time soon.

I shop Riverside Mall, Ridgewood, Garden State Mall, and Willowbrook. Have loved this clothing line for over 16 years. My favorite store is anywhere that Merle is, she is the friendliest, sweetest and most helpful of all managers. She's currently at the Garden State Mall store, so that's where I go the most. Keep up with new designs and the discounts and I'll keep shopping like a mad woman!

Loft's Allen Premium Outlet store needs new management and a security detail. Manager does not protect customers, does not stop young men standing in the women's dressing room or bullying senior citizens.

Good clothes, especially for work and for a nice fancy evening. I got a dress here for one of my relatives and she absolutely loved it. My aunt wears it to all the fancy events and outings our family goes to.

Ann Taylor got a nice spot in Times Square. Right beside the subway entrance! I feel that this location is best suited for all the businesswomen in the area who need a quick outfit or something last minute. It is good for browsing sales. The dresses are decent. Very cute. Only problem is that they are made for tall people. It you need something shorter or smaller, it’s best to shop their petite section.
