Dr. Ashton is absolutely wonderful with our dogs. She handles large animals like horses also. It's nice to have a specialist like her right here in Temecula.

Place is great !!! I had a emergency yesterday, they fit me in , give my dog the best care possible and she was very Honest about my options. Dr. Ashton and staff thank you very much you guys are great!

Dr. Ashton is an excellent veterinary opthamologist. She loves what she's doing and it shows:) Her staff does a great job as well.

I was extremely anxious about taking my dog in to have his recurrent eye swelling addressed. I spoke with Virginia on the phone and liked this office best of the Opthamologist offices I spoke to, so we drove up from San Diego. Smokey usually has to be sedated and muzzled or he will go full Kujo and wiggle away frantically and snap at the staff. I wasn't at his first exam, but Dr Ashton had my boyfriend remove the muzzle. She swaddled Smokey in a blanket and apparently he was so relaxed that he slept through part of the exam. My boyfriend went to use the bathroom, and when he returned, Smokey was sitting on the vet's lap eating bites of her lunch. Compare this to other vets, who have slapped a BITE RISK sticker on his chart. When we returned for his surgery (he had a Diamond Burr Keratectomy) I brought him unsedated. He greeted her with face licks if she were family. He complained a little when something was uncomfortable, but no aggression. She allowed me to pick him up as soon as he woke up from the sedation, so I knew he wasn't sitting in a cage freaking out. She even sent me two updates. Thank you, Dr Ashton!!

My goodness,
Dr. Ashton is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met. She treats my dogs as if they are her own. My dog got seriously sick during a trip to Kansas and is currently admitted to ICU.
Dr. Ashton communicated with the local veterinarians and advocated for my dog. She gave me life saving advice over the phone but also supported me morally during this ordeal (which continues as I type these words).
A wonderful veterinarian and a wonderful person!

The Dr saved my dogs eye No other vet could figure the problem out. In glad God directed me to her. I was actually referred to a different eye vet but I had a strong feeling to try her instead. Corndog is all better !!!
